It accomplishes everything it sets out to do, and it does so admirably
5/5

When paired with the appropriate headphones and/or speakers, this works amazingly well. To begin, and this is critical for TV use, you must use Bluetooth receiver equipment that supports the APTX low latency protocol, or your lipsync will be terrible. Don't assume that just because you spent $400 on a pair of Bose noise-canceling headphones that they support APTX over Bluetooth (they don't). Second, be aware that the 1Mii transmitter only supports PCM audio if you connect it via optical cable. Your audio will sound like a rumble of 20 Screech Owls if your TV sends Dolby Digital to the 1Mii transmitter. 1Mii really messed up on this one, as I can't find any written documentation of their PCM-based products. The optical connection is the sole requirement. I have a Samsung smart TV, and I've noticed that if the programming I'm watching uses Dolby Digital, DTS, or other formats, that's what gets sent over the optical output by default (though this can be changed in the so-called "Optical Output Settings"). Expert Sound menu is what it's called, but you may need to override it on an input-level. input, application the foundation of the application Finally, the optical port on my Samsung TV can be set up as an input - When working with the 1Mii transmitter, this is something you don't want to happen. They'd have a lot fewer 1-star reviews if this was well documented in the owner's manual. and 2- returns and five-star reviews For those of you who are debating whether to use the optical or the 3. I strongly recommend the optical interface over the 5mm phono interface because the digital encoding will not pick up hum or amplifier noise like an analog interface will. The analog TV's other flaw is that it only has three inputs. Because the jack on some TVs (TCL, for example) is really for driving wired, unpowered headphones, a 5mm source has a tendency to overdrive the 1Mii transmitter input. To put it another way, it's not a phono level output designed for a preamp level input, as the 1Mii transmitter's 3. It's best to use a 5mm input. br>br>I'm using the Bluetooth 5 version of the 1Mii. With this Bluetooth transmitter, you can connect up to 0 APTX headphones. I experimented with a BT 5 that was less expensive. 0 APTX transmitter (ASIN: ASIN: ASIN: ASIN: ASIN: ASIN: ASIN: ASIN: ASIN: ASIN: Cough, B01EHSX28M). What a load of nonsense. The low- Latency Bluetooth worked until I needed to charge the headphones, at which point the transmitter detected no clients and entered pairing mode, where it remained. It wouldn't let either of the headphones reconnect without re-pair because it was attempting to pair with anything and everything. they should be paired There isn't any of this mental gymnastics going on. This 1Mii transmitter is broken nonsense. br>br>Pairing two Bluetooth client devices (e. g. , a smartphone and a tablet) is a simple process. With this transmitter, using headphones or speakers is simple. The transmitter should be fully initialized within 30 seconds of turning it on. Press and hold the top's leftmost BT button until the LED ring begins to flash red and blue. Place your device (e. g. , a smartphone) in the middle of the table Put my headphones (in pairing mode) on and bring it up to my ear. They need to get together right away. If this is not the case, your client device may need to be reset because it was previously paired with something else. Repeat the process for the second device, but this time use the transmitter's rightmost BT button. br>br>The range test went well; I was able to go about 50 yards. 60 ft. before the signal is lost from the transmitter. However, this was not a field test. Between me and the 1Mii transmitter at the back of the house, there were four walls, a vertically stacked washing machine/dryer, and my truck's windshield. br>br>I hope this information is useful!.

I got everything I asked for and then some! I couldn't have asked for a better solution! Because my television is mounted high on the wall, I purchased this transmitter
5/5

I wanted to connect my TV to my stereo tuner for surround sound, but it didn't have Bluetooth. This was a brilliant idea! It does a lot more than you might expect. I've connected the power source to the TV's USB port, so it turns on and off with the TV. Surprisingly, when I turn on my TV and the transmitter at the same time, nothing happens. It also pairs with my stereo tuner and turns it on. That, I believe, has something to do with the Sony tuner I have. In any case, it's a pleasant surprise. This transmitter has made my life so much easier. There is no static or distortion, and there is no audible lag when the TV volume is turned down. Perfect!.

Unless powered from a switched source, the device turns off when it is not in use
3/5

We needed a transmitter for the TV/Stereo Receiver that would not turn off if the headphones were turned off or not used for a few minutes, so we went with this unit. According to what I'd read, this unit would remain "on" 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until manually turned off. This isn't the case with this transmitter. I learned a lot from reading a lot of the Q&A sections. After only a few minutes of inactivity, the newer 2020 model powers down. However, I read that if the unit was powered by a switched source, it would not turn off and would instead power back up when the switched source was turned on. As a result, I plugged the USB adapter into the back of my Receiver (which has a power source controlled by the Receiver On/Off) and now, if the Transmitter is on (blue light pulsing), when I turn the Receiver Off, the Transmitter also powers Off, and when I turn the Receiver "On," the Transmitter powers back up and is ready to Pair with my Headphones. br>br>This was important to me because my wife and I are both elderly, and getting up and down from the couch to turn on the Bluetooth Transmitter is a pain! (Every time we sat down, we'd forget to press the big button. ) br>br>As far as the Transmitter's functionality is concerned, it performs admirably. The audio quality is excellent, with no lag. I am very pleased with this unit now that the power issue has been resolved, and I would recommend it to others.

There's a lot of latency. Unusable in my opinion. If you use this to watch TV, expect the words to lag behind the mouths so badly that it appears to be a movie dubbed in another language. It gets even worse if you plan on making music with it, as I had hoped. My intention was to play guitar while listening to music that was being streamed, but the timing did not work out. I'm an audiophile, but I imagine my wife would object if I used this. Perhaps this will work for you if you're tolerant of audio issues. This is what I'm using with my Cowin E7 headphones, and they're both going back. br>br>I'm disappointed because I like the form factor and have purchased several Mii receiver devices. I'd spend the entire day buying their receivers and using them at home once a week. Because there is no need to sync with TV or anything else when playing back music, latency is irrelevant. Darn. Continue to experiment, Mii; I enjoy your other offerings.

An Unsuccessful Experiment I bought it in the hopes of being able to watch TV while listening to music on my Bluetooth headphones
3/5

When I watch TV in normal circumstances, it is loud enough to disturb anyone else in the house, so this seemed like the perfect solution. But it didn't work out, and I'll be back as soon as possible. The first phase of the Bluetooth saga was a flop. Advantages: br>br> • Setup is a breeze. br>• Simple to connectbr>• Minimal technical issuesbr>br>Cons: • There was a lot of lagbr>• In both digital and analog, the audio didn't match the picture.
