In a small or medium room you would certainly be able to get away without a sub, but in a larger room, you will almost certainly need one for both impact and bass. There is an old stereo system in my house that I am quite proud of. To be honest, I had very low expectations when I decided to try a couple of new tower speakers. Modern sound systems just don't seem to be able to produce the kind of spectacular sound I have come to expect from the best one From the end of 1979 to the present It was a monster stereo set from 1980. In modern times, the vast majority of towers under $1,000 are intended for TVs. The quality of these products is simply insufficient for a high-end product The stereo system should provide high fidelity. It seems they are all either too loud in certain frequencies or too brash, or lack clear communication. It is totally acceptable for most people to watch a movie on a screen, but listening to detailed music is another story. Upon opening up the Prime Pinnacle for the first time, I was shocked by the quality and dynamic range of its sound. As for the Pinnacles, I had to play around with the distance from the wall and such in order to "fine tune" the bass but they are most excellent. The sound quality is exceptional in all ranges and has a great 'tight' bottom end, too (my vintage speakers have a nice bass, but the mix provides a good bottom end). For the price, I think the quality of build is exceptional, and for the price I think they're simply unbeatable. I have been studying everything I can find on how these speakers work well, and in the end I can say that they work like a charm too. My initial expectations were fairly low, so I was relieved and happy to find this purchase satisfying. I know which brand I would choose if I ever have a need for new speakers or want to replace old ones The Pinnacles were never designed to be used in a bimodal format The amplifier enables the speakers to be amplified Each set of speaker terminals is connected internally, and there are only one set of crossover terminals. There are several kinds of leads that can be plugged into the speaker terminals The speakers do not have wires, banana plugs, or external fuses, nor are there any external reset switches or switches for changing the phase (which you can do by reversing the speaker lead wires if you must). With all sorts of bracing and three distinct interior areas, the cabinet appears simple from the outside but is very complex from the inside. There are six retaining clips installed in the front cover that enable it to be easily removed. A total of 3 x 6 is present. With a woofer of 5 inches and a midrange of 10 inches Two drivers are used, a 1inch driver and a midrange driver. Since the cabinet has three ports at the back, getting the distance to the wall correct is vital. You have to experiment a bit in order to get the right distance. According to the speaker's description, it is rated at 8 ohms, but its impedance curve indicates it should be closer to 6 ohms. Using the ligature says you can run these on 20 watts, but I would urge you to get a stronger system to get the clean non-flammable sound These can produce distorted sound if they are driven loudly enough (depending on the volume level). The only thing I would like to see is a wider range of cabinet colors You can either get a shiny black or ash finish for these. There is little doubt that these tower speakers are good, especially when compared to their.

These were delivered to me My Polk S60s needed to be upgraded, so I conducted extensive research before making my decision. It's great to have them around. The bass is much stronger, and the punch is much stronger as well. This makes me feel like my chest is heaving. The Polks always sounded okay to me, but I was never terribly impressed with Furthermore, the Polks have far less money than they had in the past. Polks are just as loud, but I do see a noticeable difference in the authority of these SVS Prime Pinnacles.

There is no doubt that these speakers deserve all of the awards and glowing reviews they have received. Featuring beautiful design, a transparent sound, robust construction, and being packed in a way that will withstand rough handling during transit, these headphones have a lot going for them. A better selection of photos can be found on the SVS website. You'll want to listen to everything in your collection again in order to gain an understanding of what you have.

I was blown away by the quality of the image. This brand sounds much better than brands for which the price is considerably higher. Packaging was excellent and the package arrived quickly. These speakers are awesome, so don't hesitate to buy them.
