In a car, any 12 Volt DC outlet will suffice. There isn't one for the USB port that I'm aware of, and it doesn't come with a cord that plugs directly into the USB port.
It will, in fact. However, the complete address, including the zip code, should be used.
We have height, weight, and road restrictions, so we need to know if it's suitable for semi trucks. As a result, instructions aren't just instructions.
The short answer is no. It could take up to 20 minutes. Maybe. To be fair, the instructions state that the battery should only be used for short periods of time, such as when stopping for gas. Otherwise, it will not work unless it is plugged in.

I drove from the east coast to the west coast and the gps guidance was fairly accurate. Everything worked as well as, if not better than, the $400 models on the market. br> Now for the disadvantage: if you want to change your address, you must first type your country and then select your state. That's not a big deal; it's just a minor inconvenience. The manufacturer claims that the unit will receive updates for the rest of its life. I can't find how to update the unit in the instructions or on the Xgody website, but it says to contact tech support and they'll send you an update in the frequently asked questions. I've emailed them twice now and have yet to receive a response regarding updates. br>Let's take a look back at what we've learned so far. The unit itself is decent, with a four-star rating. Attempting to get assistance from tech support received a half-star rating. I hope this information is useful to potential buyers in the future.
My only criticism is that it does not display all of the roads. I'm not sure if it's because it doesn't update itself quickly enough or what, but it frequently fails to locate the road I've entered for my route.
The screen is large enough for easy viewing, and the maps update automatically, which is exactly what we needed. We bought two of them and are very pleased with the shade protectors, which reduce glare from the sun.
I'm having issues with the GPS's location. I currently reside in New York City and am based in Brazil. How can I solve this problem, or would it be better if I returned it?.
My 18-wheel semi truck likes it a lot. I'm an OTR driver, and it's a very precise mode of transportation.
You have to search for the country each time; at first, it didn't pick up the gps signal, but I figured that out. I took this GPS on a trip and now it only shows a white screen with lines. Junk at a discount!.
Due to the fact that the item has been returned, it is impossible to give a positive or negative review. I have no idea how it works because I have never turned it on. So I had to give 5 stars because I couldn't give anything less.
Setting a destination is a bit difficult. You must select a country each time, but it performs admirably overall.
