There is nothing special about it A B. It doesn't appear there are any portable ADS-based systems Units out of b
Yes, it is. There are many EFBs that work with Android, such as iFly and FlyQ. On the surface, there are not many.
There have only been IPads and Samsung Galaxy Tabs with GPS/ADS compatibility that I've seen being used with these devices It is a set of navigational software for flights. I'm impressed with the customer service at

Selected User Reviews For Stratux ADS-B Dual Band Receiver Aviation Weather and Traffic - External WAAS GPS, AHRS, Battery Pack, Suction Mount, Antennas, SDR
This seems to be an extremely accurate translation. The GPS puck antenna was the first device I tried on the ground at my airport. When I zoomed in on Foreflight, it looked for me in the handicapped spot next to the observation area. The position I was in is exactly the same. Though I haven't used all the features yet, it has made flight easier and I have no reason to doubt I've purchased an excellent device. I am new to iPads and Foreflight and ADSB-I have no idea what all I'm doing. I've used conventional receivers in the past, but this worked smoothly with my iPad and Foreflight used it immediately. I was really surprised at how easy it is to use and get started. Please find below a photo of the case I'm using While I'm not the first person to find a good storage case for the Stratux, it seems difficult to find a good recommendation or review. In light of this, I'm putting it out there explicitly. In the case at hand,- Amazingly well done. All of the components fit into a small space, in a case that protects the unit in my flight bag, and in a GPS puck antenna and the antennas fit snugly in a GPS puck antenna. My only suggestion would be to drill a few holes such that the antennas will stand out, but that's just a nitpick. There is no crack in the unit or the case.
Over the last month, this unit has disconnected and connected several times from the iPad, so it has essentially become useless. tried using different USB cables and such, but it keeps rebooting, so it might be something else But it was all for nothing. There's a possibility that the microUSB plug is loose as well as the ADSB antenna chip (I can't get ADSB to work some of the time). There is probably a need to redesign the micro USB input on the case so that the cable can be guided in easily with a greater degree of stability. As of right now, it is hit or miss when it comes to plugging in Without looking at it, I walked into the room. This is what I have written to the company. I am waiting for a response. The result for me is that if you're a weekend warrior (fly every month or two), you might like this deal. You'll have to use it more often if you fly a lot (I fly 400 to 500 I have no complaints about it, it displays traffic well. It is excellent that the seller is very responsive. It will not let me set a resolution of less than 10 meters. According to the seller, this might be a limitation of ForeFlight, but perhaps because of that, I get frequent alerts such as "Traffic, 5 o'clock, same altitude, etc. ". There are 25 miles in each direction. " The two might or might not be related, but I'm probably not in the right frame of mind when I ignore warnings constantly. The internal antenna in the iPad gives me two to three dBs This image has a resolution of 3 m. It's not a huge deal, but I wish the "Smart WiFi" would work. According to my inquires of the seller, I was unable to obtain a good explanation of what it does, but I believe it allows you to connect to the internet while simultaneously connecting to the stratux (it may be pure speculation here, as I could not find any documentation). In order for that to work, one has to get into the WiFi and IP address configuration of the stratux (I think) and set it up as a pass through device. There are no instructions or guidance from the seller on how to accomplish this. The following is another minor nit We have a little issue with the power button on the battery, since it doesn't seem to turn off the Stratux. Getting rid of the plug is the only option. After I turned off the power button on the battery and packed the Stratux in my flight bag, I discovered it was completely dead from not turning on by itself. Perhaps it has to do with the mini-computer There is a bit of looseness in the USB plug. The next device I'll get costs just over twice as much as this one ( . Nevertheless, I would appreciate if it would better suit my needs).
I am a pilot who flies several club and rental aircraft and needed a portable ADS-B out receiver I believe it is a receiver B. After seeing Crewdog's Stratux was half the price, I thought I'd give it a try A fraction of this - even a third It has been compared to a number of portable units and ended up getting Since this was my first portable unit, I did not want to spend more than $500 on it Despite not knowing what I was doing, I spent $1200 on it. It is justifiable that all reviews are excellent. This is 1. It is a very good service! I'll get back to you within a few hours and answer any concerns you may have. 1. 2. I have no complaints about the unit. In my tests of this GPS unit, I used ForeFlight and iFly GPS. We lucked out with the AHRS - it was very accurate and stable. It can definitely be used as a backup instrument in case of aircraft Despite the incredibly high accuracy and perfect working of WAAS GPS, the unit worked flawlessly. The ADS was received - It's a beautiful day with excellent traffic and weather in the B zone. 4* Each a. software of the unit can be customized very easily. Electronic equipment operates in a similar way to any other Whenever the firmware needs to be updated, it is fast, free, and easy to do. I did not need any technical knowledge to operate this unit, and it worked right out of the box for me. The sixth point. It is excellent that the included, rechargeable battery offers such a long life. The Stratux worked really well for me on a couple of two-way I/O The battery lasted about three hours, and the remaining percentage was about 70%. If you will not be able to recharge between flights or for very long flights, it's easy to use a spare portable battery. The 7th point. A great example of the fantastic service is the complimentary extended trial of iFly GPS for Crewdog customers* This receiver offers real value. The plus side is I am very satisfied with the Crewdog receiver due to its excellent performance, no-hassle customer service, and the excellent performance.
As far as I can tell, so far so good. Mobile devices, both Android and iOS, can be connected to the tablet WiFi. The system was tested at a couple of airports while I was on the ground. My device received an ADSB message from two tower ground stations at a Class C airport view parking lot. There was information about the weather in this. Filters can be applied to the reports. The synthetic vision and artificial horizon features of iFlyGPS are very nicely integrated. On an iPad, the trial version of Foreflight showed weather and traffic, but it did not let you use synthetic vision. It is used by a pilot at one of the local airports, and he showed me his iPad subscription working with it. I think this is a real value if it turns out to be rock solid over time. Adding an additional safety margin will ensure a better level of protection. The manufacturer deserves praise for his work. You're doing an excellent job, keep it up. Despite what we may think, competition exists all the time.
