There is a home button on it! I realize the image isn't very clear.
It's not as important what they provide as it is that you order the correct part. I recommend devoting about 5-to-10 minutes to this. Spend 15 minutes on ifixit.com reviewing the steps. They have some of the best DIY fix tutorials. If you believe you are capable of handling it, go ahead and place your order. I thought this was a fantastic screen until I accidentally broke the first one by slamming it into place on the corners too hard. However, I ordered a replacement, and it works perfectly. superior to the original You should be fine if you stick to ifixit's recommendations.
That's the digitizer you're looking at. The LCD screen is located beneath the digitizer and is responsible for displaying the graphics; however, it is extremely delicate; do not pinch it too hard when removing it as it can easily crack!

My daughter accidentally dropped her iPad mini, shattering the glass and denting the corner slightly. Fix-it shop in the neighborhood Because the repair shop wanted $100 to fix it, I decided to do it myself. Because of the amount of adhesive on our iPad, it took me a long time, but I was able to do it by following the instructions on Youtube (search for Tech MD's video, it was the most thorough). Give it a shot if you're handy with a camera and can follow video instructions. Thanks!.
Replacing a screen on any device is difficult, but this was not any more difficult than you might expect, and the touch responsiveness is identical to the original. Even the home button works properly, which is usually a major flaw in replacement screens. The adhesive tape stinks, that's my only complaint. I wish I'd heeded the advice of nearly every instructional video I watched, which recommended using different adhesive tape.
I'm always wary of these low-cost screen replacements, but hey, they're cheap. There are no instructions, so you'd better watch some YouTube videos. So far, it's performed admirably, and I'm grateful for the additional glass screen protector that came with it. Advantages: br>br> It's inexpensive, it works well, and it includes a screen protector. The home button has been included and is attached. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. Because the adhesion isn't very strong, use caution when applying pressure so that it doesn't crack. The cleaning wipes that came with it are useless, so don't waste your time with them. br>br>Before disconnecting and reconnecting the lcd and digitizer, make sure your device is turned off and the battery is disconnected; according to what I've read, if you don't, you risk blowing out the lcd or mother board. A tip for after you replace the digitizer is to carefully heat it up again and place a phone book and some weight on top to help it adhere. Put an extra glass protector on it and store it in a nice "case" and hope it lasts for a long time.
Look. This isn't the easiest thing to do, but it's a lot more difficult if you don't have any instructions or all of the necessary parts. I was able to figure out how to do it after watching a few videos online, but it would have been nice to have some key components to complete the job. The adhesive strips that you need to reattach were missing from my new screen. Some of the tools required for the job were also "missing. " " In the end, everything worked out fine, but it's a pain to have just finished the repair and now have to figure out how to attach the screen on my own. " In all seriousness- What if there aren't any instructions and there isn't even an adhesive strip? WTF?.
year- old. Even with a heavy-duty laptop, she had shattered screen after screen. Her iPad is protected by a duty case. I bought this screen around the holidays and was blown away by how simple it was to install after watching a quick YouTube video, and *poof* her iPad was working perfectly again. Fast forward to this month, when she, of course, dropped her iPad once more, resulting in the touchscreen becoming unusable due to the damage. It was fantastic that I could go to Amazon and find this lifesaving gem by going to my "Order Again" section. It was delivered the next day, and installation took even less time this time. We're going on a long car trip, and I'm confident that this product will save my sanity and keep my kids entertained. This company's product is excellent, and I strongly advise you to order it. When my clumsy daughter breaks her screen again, I will definitely order from you again!.
I'm not sure what the distinction is between the digitizer and the outside glass plane. The outside panel protecting the iPad's inner workings broke, cracked, and I taped it up until this arrived. I put it together after filing down the bend in the corner of the iPad so that the new glass panel, which will be flush with the aluminum iPad casing, would not break as easily. (I also added a small amount of cement, which dries clear. ) ) The Amazon package included some tools I used as well as an extra glass panel or maybe acrylic, I'm not sure, and I'm not sure what to use it for, maybe it's a protective screen cover, but it seems awfully thick to be this, it's about three thirty seconds. I don't think so. I'll go over the description again and get the measuring tape out for this panel. However, the replacement screen included the home screen as well as a cable that was simple to connect once I removed the inner panel, which I believe was referred to as a digitizer, but I'm not sure.

It was so simple to follow, and once I got it fixed, I felt like a boss. br>br>The only issue I have is that the bottom of my screen isn't functioning properly. I'm not sure if it's because of the screen that was sent to me or because of a problem with my computer. But everything worked out until I shut everything down. I even dismantled it and reassembled it to give it another shot. br>br>I believe the screen has been pushed in or that something is causing the iPad to believe it is being touched at the bottom of the screen. But, as I previously stated, I am not a computer whiz.
Overall, this wasn't too difficult for me to accomplish, and it saved me hundreds of dollars because my next step was likely to be a new iPad. I recommend watching several YouTube demos to get a better idea of what you're getting yourself into. Then, during replacement, pick the one that makes the most sense to you. And be careful with those tiny screws, because when you go to put everything back together, they like to FLY to the IPad's magnetic edges. Putting those screws in was the most difficult part for me.
