This was purchased to replace a cracked screen on a Galaxy Tab 8 that belonged to one of my friends. The tablet's outer screen/digitizer had a crack in it, and the touch functions weren't working properly, and his daughter couldn't see the screen clearly. The price was fair, and the screen replacement is of good quality, long-lasting, and well-made construction. br>However, if you've never done this type of repair before, the installation process can be intimidating. If you're trying to replace a screen, cover it with clear packing tape to keep it from shattering and cutting you. The majority of screens have adhesion to keep them attached to the chassis. I heated the glue with a heat gun and carefully slid under the glass with a plastic spudger, taking care not to damage the LCD screen underneath. br>After removing the old, busted screen, the new one was simple to install. I did have an issue with the included adhesive tape, as some spots did not adhere despite my thorough cleaning. I even tried again with the heat gun to get the tape tacky, but it didn't work. But I don't mind because everything works fine and I only have to push on a spot on the corner every now and then to get it to move. Overall, I think this is a good digitizer to replace your old one.

You can learn how to do it by watching a video on YouTube. I have a lot of the tools I need for my work and messing around with rc cars. So between the two of them, I was able to complete them in about an hour. an appearance and performance that is comparable to that of a new machine.
