My daughter shattered the screen on her nearly two-year-old children's tablet. I didn't want to spend the money on a new tablet because hers was still functional but had a cracked screen. This one seemed to fit her tablet, so I bought it. Some of the tools that came with it broke easily, but I was able to work with the rest of the kit's tools. I was able to replace the screen with ease, and it now functions flawlessly! I considered purchasing a second one just in case the first one broke.

Although the screen is excellent, the tools could be improved

It was not an easy, but not impossible, task to replace the screen. The little triangle pick things were not strong enough, and they kept breaking during the replacement, which was my only complaint with this kit. Fortunately, I had a set of hard guitar picks on hand, which worked perfectly. Make sure to watch the YouTube tutorials!.

Fragile!

I'm not convinced of the quality. In the process of replacing three of these, I broke three of them. I know I'm a bull in a china shop, but these appear to be especially delicate to me. Update! br>br> I was finally able to replace one without breaking it, and it now functions flawlessly. The packaging on the last two I received was far superior to the first.

The first attempt went well until the adhesion was heated up to the point where it would stick

A crack appeared in the glass. The tools aren't great; you'd be better off using a real guitar picture instead of the ones included in the set, which are too soft.
