It has an adhesive that is similar to that of a band-aid; you peel it off and it sticks. I'm a woman, and I was able to repair my iPad using this method. Everything you'll need is included in the package. I recommend using the protective foam to place the screws so you can see exactly where they went.

Is there a phone number I can call if I have any questions?

I'm not sure why I keep re-reading the same things. I followed the step-by-step instructions until it worked. I finally got it to work, and I haven't had any issues since.

Our iPad Mini's outer glass screen is still intact. Is the shattering of the "interior" screen addressed with this replacement?

I received my order today, and it appears to be a return due to the lack of a protective screen on the glass and greasy finger prints on the inside. Anyway, I'm going to clean and install and then update, so my recommendation is to find another seller. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I had to use glue to keep it in place because I thought the adhesive was exposed on most of the screen. After cleaning, there was no damage to the glass, so it worked, but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for.

The quality of the home button is poor

Although the screen fits, the home button is of poor quality and does not function properly. If you tap near the home button, apps will close and you will be returned to the home screen. I had to disable Siri because if you press the home button more than once, Siri will chime in, preventing you from returning to the home screen.

In comparison to OEM glass, it's flimsy

The kit as a whole was fine, but plastic coated tweezers were missing. The installation went as planned, based on several videos I watched prior to starting. Everything was tested and found to be in working order after connecting the new screen. When it came to removing the glue protective strips and replacing the glass in the frame, there was some difficulty. The glass shattered under my thumb pressure as I applied firm, gentle pressure to the seat glue. So we've come full circle.
