All tools except a heat gun are required for installation. In order to use fingerprints, you will need to remove the home button from this digitizer and use the one that is already on your IPad instead. About 30 minutes were required to replace the drive.

If you want to remove adhesive strips, make sure you watch out for ribbon cables
