It's a bit early for an Apple pencil so I can't tell how responsive the screen will be. The screen actually fits almost to the very edge, maybe even closer and more protective than the iPhone. It was a bit difficult for me to get it on without bubbles (I always have this problem). Since the tool that usually comes in packages to remove bubbles was not with me, I was not able to do so. I had been searching for a glass iPad Pro protector for quite some time. My application of the film was smooth and almost automatic, adhering to most surfaces without bubbles or dust when I followed the instructions. In case one of them turned out to be crooked, though, having two in the box was nice. Although it tends to cause glare when used in direct sunlight, it is relatively glare-free otherwise. Anyway, it is a great product. It is hard to put on without some dust getting under it, but that is the case with any tempered glass screen protector when it is applied.
