Using the Night Sky Portable with an iPad Pro allows me to photograph the night sky in great detail. A CamRanger is connected to my DSLR, where I use my iPad to view the photographs as well as control the camera. My iPad can be securely mounted on a tripod using the mount from Ulanzi. I like the style of the Ulanzi mount. Having the Arca Swiss plate molded right into the mount is a very nice touch. The app is very helpful. Because the mount is made of aluminum, it iPad is securely held in place in it. An angled rubber foot mounts on top of the iPad to prevent it from sliding. It has been a great experience so far.
