You cannot use this with a RAM ball, so I'm not sure what you mean by that
I agree! It's true the magnet doesn't do it, but the steel plate you affix to your phone will make your phone unable to connect to a I am having the same problem on both my Samsung S10 Ultra and my iPhone X.
There is no way to adjust tension, the chair is stiff right out of the box. Moab is one of the only places I have not moved while I ran off-road trails and many corrugated roads.
The base is 2 1/2 inches in diameter, 4 inches high, and 2 1/2 inches thick.

My husband and I planned a trip to the Tennessee mountains on the It was necessary for us to have our tablet with maps for us Our goal was to secure the tablet and this product did a great job. Despite steep slopes and steep rocks on the trail, the mount stayed in place on the dash. The magnets didn't lose power on the trail. There is no doubt this product is worth buying!.
It is awesome when a tablet mount mounts to the dash. It took me five minutes to set it up on my freightliner Cascadia plane. It was worth every penny I spent on it, the magnets are very strong. In case you are sure you will keep it in a particular place, then you might as well put a little superglue on the bottom of the foundation. The stand itself is made from diecast steel, so it is Magnets do their jobs, but the adhesive tape right off the mounting surface when mounted will be torn off by the magnet. Once it is dry, it can be used. We used a little superglue and let it dry for about 1520 minutes. The tablet comes with two circles so the other cool thing is you can put one of them on top of the dashboard and the other one on the front of the dashboard facing you, so you can mount your tablet or iPad on two different surfaces.
It has a strong phone mount, but it has a weak adhesive. I love how light it is and how easy it is to move I had to connect the sticky pads with gorilla glue to my dash due to the sticky pads not lasting very long. While I'm aware some people might not want to do that, my phone has to stay put on the dashboard so that it doesn't fall off while driving.
The mount is very sturdy and can withstand a lot of abuse. The weight is almost too much. That's way too much to hold an iPad, just for the sake of holding one. On the other hand, the adhesive they use for mounting the puck on your dash is not very good. It seemed like the puck was only there for two weeks before it was knocked off.
A strong, sturdy stand that holds the iPad stably when off. Almost bouncing from one side of the road to the other. One thing about this magnet is that it is a little pricey for just being a magnet, but it works like a charm!.
I lost 70 dollars since this item has no return policy. It arrived damaged, so I can't return it.
This phone is huge and heavy. If you think this is a phone size 1, think again because this is a humongous phone. Originally, I was going to return it, but now I can make use of it.
This product does not work the way it was intended to. Having adhesive on your hands is a pain. You won't be able to mount the disc on your dashboard. It is too heavy for the adhesive. Even using automotive body strips gave the same result. In the case of a tablet, magnets would probably be ideal. It would be nice if you could find some use for it.
