No, but I held my phone camera up to the screen and took a picture of the image without using the flash. It was crisp and clear enough to send via email and save to my computer. When shooting the image, you must brace yourself and remain steady, and it turned out beautifully.
No, I don't believe that is true. Not sure 100% if 100% if 100% if 100% It would certainly be inconvenient.
Approximate dimensions: 2 3/4" x 3"
You can only look at the slide in its current state. If it's a negative, you'll see it exactly how it is.

This device disappointed me, as I had hoped for a little better performance after reading the reviews. To begin with, there is a lack of lighting. Images are poorly lit, unless you're in a completely dark room. This leads us to the second problem - The slide needed/eject function is woefully inadequate. Slides can become stuck and difficult to remove. Even slides mounted in hard plastic mounts become clogged. So you're constantly turning the lights on and off to eject slides if you're working in the dark to see the images. Third - The device will be returned because there is lint and/or dust on the inside of the lens and viewing screen, which is impossible to remove and you can't disassemble it.
I started using the old slide projector (which seemed to work at first) and then the bulb blew. I found a replacement bulb, but it was more expensive than the projector itself when I bought it! So, let's take a look at this slide viewer. It arrived quickly and is in excellent working condition. Obviously, the "screen" is much smaller than the images projected by the projector, but it allows me to sort through the slides and decide which ones I want to keep and which I don't. It performs admirably, is simple to use, and fast.
The item's low cost is immediately apparent when it is opened. It appears to be on the verge of collapsing. br>br>It works well for perfect, non-repeatable results. 35mm slides that have been bent or warped. If there is a problem with the slide, it will not eject and must be manually removed, which is often difficult. br>br>35mm negative strips are supposed to be fed through a slot on one side and then exit through a slot on the other side; if the negative strip is not perfectly flat and straight, the leading edge will get caught on the inside of the viewer and will not come out the exit slot. br>br>In theory, this item is a good idea, but it is poorly implemented. br>br>It's worth noting that Amazon sells the exact same item under a variety of brand names (including Kodak) at different price points. In each case, the basic item is the same (the only differences are whether a power adapter is included or whether it can be charged via USB).
This was purchased to replace a 1970s Kodak slide viewer. You'd think that no one could mess up an old tool like this that deals with old photo technology--but you'd be wrong. 50 years old, to be exact. Rather than being a tool for completing a task, you're wasting your time attempting to eject the slides. The edges of the slides are rounded or squared, and they are framed in cardboard or plastic. It didn't seem to make a difference. Trying to eject them was a gamble. Second, while the magnification was adequate, the lighting was inadequate. It's not very bright.
This is exactly what I've been looking for. I have over 10,000 negatives to go through, and this will make it a lot easier than going through each one with my negative scanner and previewing each one. I also tried it with some slides, and I had no problems inserting or removing them. Negative feedback should be ignored. They're written by people who don't know what they're doing and won't read the instructions. br>This is ideal for the purpose for which it was created.
Despite the fact that many people had written negative reviews about this viewer jamming, I decided to take a chance and order it. I'm glad I took the chance. I have hundreds of old slides from my husband's childhood that I'd like to print. Because I only want "people" photos and not scenery photos, this little viewer will save me a lot of money. I'm having a good time reminiscing about my childhood. This little viewer is one of my favorites. I've had a few that "stick," but they usually fall out when I turn it upside down. For my needs, the magnification is ideal. In addition, I believe the cost was extremely low. especially now that I've seen how well it functions.
I've been searching for a viewer to view slides I took in Egypt 40 years ago. This one works just like the others, but it has a USB end so I can plug it into a computer or a wall outlet. Anyone who does not want to spend money on batteries or a power cable will appreciate this feature. You did an excellent job!.
Much better than I had anticipated. I went through hundreds of slides and was able to use my phone to take a picture through the viewer, send it to my computer, and then edit it in Photoshop. I did the same thing with negatives, but I had to convert them in Photoshop because they were a little more difficult. The price was reasonable, and I received it in two days, whereas other sellers demanded more time. It was not necessary to use batteries because the ability to plug in was available. If a few slides have become stuck and you can only keep a few in the eject tray, The light is bright enough to give it a quick look to see if it's something you'd like to slide in. It appeals to my tastes.
