The film is exactly as it appears on the screen. There are no electronic devices that could be used to alter the image. It functions in the same way that your slide projector does.
Yes, each load is unique. You can only load one photo at a time, but there is a tray that will hold a few dozen photos after you release it.
I have a lot of slides from the 1950s. 60’s. It's possible that the old slides won't eject because they're thicker. I simply use tweezers to remove them. If the slides are newer, they will eject without a hitch.
Yes, it exactly resembles the image. The image is lit from behind by a backlight. It's almost as if you're looking at a picture on your smartphone.

Viewing slides and old negatives has never been easier or more effective. I'd been forced to look at all of my old slides or negatives by holding them up to the light since my last viewer broke. With this viewer, I can enjoy my old slides and negatives (and with the b With the negatives, you can actually see what's on them). If you don't want to use batteries, the USB powered AC adapter is also useful. Fast shipping, and the product is exactly as described. Walking down 35mm Memory Lane is a lot of fun!.
We bought this to preview a mountain of slides and negatives before deciding which ones to digitize (we already had a name brand unit with an incandescent lamp that was too dark). It also didn't have a place to plug in an AC adapter. This unit is daylight bright, and the mechanism for going through the slides is simple and effective; the AC adapter eliminates the battery hassle for us. br>This unit is being donated. Overall, it's everything we needed for the job.
My mother, who is in a nursing home, was overjoyed to be able to see old negatives she had accumulated over the years! It's simple to use and can be powered by batteries or the USB port that comes with it. There were only a few issues getting a few of the negatives discharged from the viewer, but it wasn't a major issue. Very nice LED background, makes a lot more sense when looking at the image. This item was effective. Everything was very clear in terms of the view. My only gripe was that after watching the slide, I couldn't stop thinking about it. The slide is dispensed into the discard tray by pressing the eject button. Almost always, it stuck The slide had to be dropped by shaking the projector. It's depressing. 😞.
This is by far the most dissatisfying Amazon purchase I've ever made. As can be seen in the photos, the slide viewer arrived broken, with damaged wiring and wear marks on the outside that indicate it had been used (and abused) previously; I am appalled that the seller would even consider passing it off as new. This product, and especially this seller, is not one I can recommend. I was so disappointed because I had recently discovered decades-old slides of my family and was looking forward to receiving and using this product.
This has left me very disappointed. There isn't a great deal of magnification. I had to feed the slides into the viewer one by one, and they jammed half of the time. I should have just used the slide/photo lupe viewer I've had for decades.
The unit's features were adequate but not exceptional. The image was not enlarged enough by the film reader for better viewing.
Load one at a time and toss into the tray easily. It's best for sorting slides to see which ones are worth digitizing and which ones should be discarded.
