Yes, there is a Cleaning Brush included in the box.
Because my laptop has SD card adaptors for all sizes of SD cards, I didn't need a separate SD card reader.
I have a bunch of slides with metal cases that wouldn't close unless I used my Dremel tool to remove a small ridge! I was able to get it to accept all of the slides!
I'm hoping it scans a lot of movies.

Look somewhere else if you are or believe you are a pro. You shouldn't be buying a $100 scanner, much less reviewing it and complaining about it. However, if you're a beginner like me and have hundreds, if not thousands, of old slides and negatives of various sizes, this method works great. I saved them on the included Scan Disc before transferring them to my computer. It's that simple. The negative holder is a pain to open, but I quickly learned that I could just leave it in the device and slide my 35mm negatives through it and out the other side; I'm transferring 50-year-old negatives, and the color is as good as a negative that old can be.
This is a very simple quickie scanner to use. It's surprisingly good for scanning old photo negatives to send to a friend or for a quick negative scan for Instagram. br>br>It isn't intended for professional use, but I believe that should be obvious. br>For my family, I've scanned a number of old negatives, cleaned them up a bit in Photoshop, and sent them out to friends and family who were delighted to receive them. This purchase has been a success for me.
Minolta is a well-known photo equipment manufacturer. That's why I decided to purchase this gadget. However, I returned it due to the poor quality of its outputs. The fact that each scan takes a second or two should be enough to convince the user that it isn't good. That was not the case. The film's lighting isn't consistent. Minolta needs to do a better job of protecting its reputation.
Thank you a lot. It's difficult enough to navigate through photographs, but navigating through Slides is even more difficult. is a form of torture No More! It's so simple and quick to use. The color and quality are excellent. This is a huge improvement. Thanks.
So far, I've found it to be an excellent tool for viewing old slides. I have yet to put it to any other use. When I have more information, I will post an update. I still need to go through my 8mm and 35mm film.
3rd copier/scanner for slides Finally, I've discovered one that is excellent.
For Superslides, this does not work. This is ideal for people who have a large collection of 35mm slides. Because my father used larger Superslides, this scanner only captures a portion of the image.
