Questions & Answers
This is a slide viewer for 35mm transparencies, rather than a scanner. It has film strips on the sides that you can insert. I use the unit in normal room lighting and have no issues seeing my slides.
A 6v/0 LED bulb is used in the unit. 3a) I don't believe is intended to be replaced.
You'll need to prop yourself up on something because the slide isn't very big. Looking down at the screen is extremely uncomfortable. Slide feed isn't always working, so it's not a great product.

Because the scanning process is so quick, I was able to go through about 500 negatives in about five hours. These were old negatives, perhaps 25 years or more old, so some of the colors may have changed, as did the saturation, which I found to be a little too much at times. I just scanned them as is because I run everything through Photoshop anyway, which is much more accurate than'step' functions for brightness, color, etc. These were old negatives, perhaps 25 years or more old, so some of the colors may have changed, as did the saturation, which I found to be a little too much at times. This could be due to the original negatives or the scanner, but the majority of the scans were reasonably accurate. I use lint-free cloths as a tip. Free gloves to handle the negatives, but dust attracts old strips of celluloid, which is transferred to the plate in the scanner where the slides/negatives rest and sheds. After that, it will appear in your scans. They provide you with an excellent dust-removal tool. When you only pull strips in and out on one side of the insert, however, the dust tends to stick to the plate. It's best to only go in one direction at a time. As a result, the majority of the dust that enters is pushed out the other side, reducing the number of times you have to use the tool. I also use a piece of scotch tape to clean the tool after each use so that the dust does not get back into the scanner. Second, the 14-megapixel resolution is more than sufficient. The 22 megapixel resolution is actually a 14 megapixel resolution. up to 22 Mp interpolation If you want a higher resolution, do your interpolation in Photoshop or Corel Paint Shop Pro. With 14 Mp, 16x20 prints are simple to produce. The additional 8 megapixels of resolution will only result in unwanted artifacts in your image files. I'm very pleased with this unit, as are my children and grandchildren, who will cherish the memories!.
It's a cinch to preview slides using this method. I like that you can leave the light on while simply dropping the slide in. I also like how the slide collects in a tray at the bottom when a button is pressed.
A lot of the time, the slide eject doesn't work, and the slide gets stuck in the exit slot. Picking up the unit and dumping the slide back into the input slot is something I have to do frequently.
The slides occasionally get stuck, as stated in reviews, but for the price, this viewer was ideal for four family members to view 50-year-old slides and reminisce.
The only thing that appears to be different is the model number listed and the stickers that have been applied. All of the items are made in China. This viewer performs as expected, with bright, clear images.
While the viewer functioned properly and the image was satisfactory, one or more slides would become stuck in the viewer from time to time. The slide would not come out unless I shook it. It would happen so frequently at times that it was irritating.
It's good enough to review and save old Negative Films, it's simple to use with an on/off button, it's the cheapest and has the same quality as higher priced similars, and it doesn't require a battery, which is a waste of money. I took negative photos directly from the screen of this viewer with my old Canon Powershot SX50HS, transferred them to my computer, opened each with Paint (Windows 10 free software), cropped, and then inverted color. For my needs, the quality is sufficient.
Slides aren't always easy to remove - Frequently, a second one is required to push out the first.
