I recently upgraded to a MacBook Pro and needed an adapter to connect to my other monitors, as well as my external memory and mouse. Although the device has a lot of ports, none of them work at the same time! Only one of my laptop's four ports worked with the adapter when I tried them all. The connection was lost while in use, and the computer did not recognize it. It was as if it had vanished entirely, which was extremely irritating. It also became extremely hot, which caused my laptop to become hot as well. I called Apple to double-check that it wasn't the MacBook, but everything appears to be in order. It's a pity because so many other people have raved about it and it has so many ports! I was hoping this would work, but it didn't.
It is light in weight and small in size, making it convenient to transport. I can connect my mouse and keyboard to my Macbook Pro using this hub instead of purchasing expensive ones from the Apple store. It even has HDMI support, which allows me to connect my MacBook Pro to my monitor and projector! I wish I could have received it sooner. This hub has a really nice layout. This is something I would strongly recommend to anyone who needs a hub like this but does not want to spend a lot of money.
Although the product is advertised as a "7 in 1 Hub," it only had 6 ports when I received it. I'm in need of a spare USB-C cable. Data is transferred through the C port. I already returned it for a refund and bought a new hub with the correct information.
This is a fantastic hub! It's a breeze to work with! I simply connect my HDMI cable and then the C-Connector. Connect the cable to my iPad 12. I'm connected with my 9 pro! Now I can watch whatever I'm watching on my iPad on the big screen. This is the all-in-one device to have if you're looking for a hub with a variety of features.
Please accept my sincere apologies for sharing my personal experience: This was something I really wanted to like, but it didn't work out. It disconnects USB devices on a sporadic basis. I purchased this adapter because I needed one with a cable connection. On my 2019 Mac Book Pro, I usually have two USB external drives plugged in. When working on videos, the drives will occasionally vanish for no apparent reason. In addition, very frequently (about 80 percent of the time, but not always) 90% of the time when one hard drive is connected and you add another one, the first one will disconnect. Very, very annoying - When working on video projects, this is especially true. I simply don't have the time to deal with this right now. Returning has been exasperating, to put it mildly.
The fact that it came with a memory card reader for SD and Micro SD cards was just icing on the cake. Everything appears to be in working order. I have an HDMI monitor, a USB mouse, and a USB keyboard connected to the HDMI port. A charging cable with a C connector is plugged into the wall. It's incredibly simple to plug in the entire hub and have everything work immediately. The memory card readers' transfer speeds are also quite fast. br>br>The only issue I seem to have (hence the one missing star) is that my mouse randomly stops working. Once or twice a day, it happens. My mouse's light is still on, but no movement is detected. Before it works, I have to unplug it for a few minutes and then re-plug it. It's inconvenient, but I mostly use my laptop for web browsing and word processing, so I don't use the mouse very often. br>br>The materials and construction have a solid feel to them. It's not made of cheap plastic, but of metal. The attachment cable is long and thick, so it won't bend too much. It always sticks straight out, which can be a problem if you have a small desk or plan to carry it in your pocket. br>br>Aside from that, I'm pleased with my purchase. It's worth noting that the HDMI signal doesn't support 60Hz, which may cause problems for gamers. If you're a gamer, go somewhere else.
When I tried to import videos from my DSLR camera to my iPadPro 4th generation, I encountered an error. "Not supported," it would say. " The problem is solved with this Hiearcool Hub. I was able to import the videos by directly inserting the scan disk into the dock. br>br>The cord was too short because it got tangled up as I moved the iPad into position to work. I was concerned that it would snap or become loose. br>br>Quality was good for the price. I believe you will get your money's worth from the device if you take proper care of it. br>br>It was delivered on time and was carefully shrink wrapped to protect it from the elements. I made a complete video but was unable to upload it.
For a long time, I've been looking for an adapter, and this USBC Hub is exactly what I needed. Apart from the functionality, the aesthetics are the best part. This hub is the same color as my MacBook Pro, which is Space Grey. It also has a USBC port, two USB ports, and an HDMI port, making it an excellent addition to my backpack. It was well worth the money!.
