I haven't heard of it before. It was a reasonable price so I decided to give it a shot. I'm pleased with how it's going so far. Unfortunately, I did not have an HDMI slot or a full-sized SD card slot on my laptop. Photographer that I am, I think these two things matter to me quite a bit. Both working on a bigger screen and importing files from my camera cards are important to me. As far as build quality is concerned, I was pleasantly surprised. An adapter made of metal is firm and sturdy and does not feel like plastic at all. We will only know the quality of the build in due time. My testing so far has shown that all the ports are functioning as expected, and the speeds are in line with pure USB speeds with slight variations which are On a direct USB connection to my external Samsung T3 SSD, I get 430 m/b read and 400 m/b write speeds. The current setup I have has my 20" Macbook Pro connected to this hub that has my Dell 2410 monitor connected to a USB dock that has a USB hub attached to an external hard drive, and all of that running smoothly There are a few pictures of my current setup so as to let you see exactly how it's currently set up and everything works fine. As far as the physical appearance of the adapter goes, it is stylish, has the brand on top, is made of metal on the outer housing, and a thick cable end for connecting to a Using the USB C connector is definitely a tight space, and I had to put quite a bit of effort into it to achieve a nice seal, but it works great so far. There is a working USB port, a working card reader, and a working HDMI port. In my tests I've used a 1920x1200 Dell monitor with a 60hz refresh rate, and a Sony 4K XBR television with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 30hz per the advertisement. As far as I know, there are no inexpensive HDMI 2 adapters. The above doesn't appear to be a source of 4K output at 60hz, but I bet there are sources out there that can provide My previous comparison shopping revealed different products but this one fit my requirement for offering a decent combination of features in a safe and portable package for a reasonable price. I use it when my laptop is docked, but feel that it would also perform well on the go. Despite all that, I would definitely recommend this product and commend the company for offering something so high quality at such an affordable.

I thought I had found the answer to my prayers when I found this adapter. My mobile photo/videography kit had Micro, SD and HDMI outputs, so I could use it as a mobile photographer or videographer. Despite its small size and lightweight, the unit is made of tough aluminium that gives it a very The unit started giving me a bit of trouble after a few weeks, so I contacted the seller and am waiting for a replacement. A 15-inch MacBook Pro from the year 2018 is what I have. The HDMI, as well as the other ports, all worked great when I tested them. Since I've had it for a week, I have not encountered any problems. Plugs both male and female feel good and are well connected. I also love the dark gray color of my mac, which matches the space grey. Whenever anything changes, I will let you know.

As far as I know, the one I received does not work with any SD card, be it full size or micro. These are continually mounted and unmounted by the program. have tried a variety of cards and they all behave the same. I was able to use the USB drive and HDMI without any problems. A RECENT UPDATE A working unit was delivered to me after diligent and effortless customer assistance. Daisy, thanks for being so kind to me. SD cards are connected to the device and it works properly. An Apple MAC Book Pro 2016 is my computer of choice.

We have recently purchased new Macbook pro laptops, and neither of them have the standard USB ports or card readers. For amateur photographers, these are necessary to connect their cameras to a computer in order to charge their batteries or transfer photos or the card readers in order to transfer photos from their cameras to a memory card. Fortunately, these are exactly what we are looking for, as they are short and compact and can fit into our laptop sleeve. I was very pleased with the product and the price was also great. Before I saw these, I had already bought a simple plug-in card reader from Apple for $44.

My XPS 13 is perfectly suited for this adapter. I highly recommend this product due to its portability and sturdy construction. The main reason why I use it is to load files from my camera using the Card Reader. I was able to transfer files in an extremely short time! That was a pleasant surprise to say the least. I may purchase a couple more for my family and friends.

It's nice to be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the material in this product - it's metallic look gives it a gravitate, and it stays in place when connected to the computer nicely. One thing I particularly like about it is the number of memory card and USB ports. This is a highly recommended book.
