As I just purchased a new 2021 iMac, I bought this in hope of being able to use my external hard drives since the iMac only has USB-C ports The Thunderbolt port and the USB C port. There was no response when I plugged it in. The external drive isn't being read by my computer. It is now my intention to investigate other hubs and to find one that works for me.

In terms of value, it's a great buy for your money! According to its design, it works as expected. Since I travel with my phone and detach it often, I was concerned that I would damage the ports when plugging in/unplugging it. I checked the one that uses two lightning ports, but I was concerned about damaging the ports. This is something that I like to do quite often, so I'm glad I went with it. I was able to use all the ports as expected. There's no need to spend more than $70 on these, in my opinion.

A revised review has been completed. I like the look of the product. Two of the three USB ports can be used, but I cannot use the third You can only connect three ports at once. The power doesn't allow you to link any more than three ports simultaneously. I have also noticed that when I am trying to charge my laptop using the power delivery port it crashes While I have an "slow charger" on my laptop, it tells me that it is slow charging. "Lention quickly responded to my issues and told me that my Dell XPS 15 9510, 130W power adapter has some kind of incompatibility with their hub that limits the power delivery to 60W. I'm very disappointed that the hub won't work on my laptop as intended since it isn't enough power to power three USB devices at once. I don't know why it isn't enough power to charge it and run three USB devices at the same time. Nonetheless, I commend you for how you handled my customer service inquiry.
If this hub is compatible with your system, it seems to be a solid product. It looks nice. The build quality is solid. I like the design of this unit with all of the ports on one side. The cable management on your desk will be much easier. By the way According to the product literature that comes in the box, the maximum power delivery is 60W. I've been assured by Lention that the power draw will be 100W, as stated on Amazon's product page.

In order to hook up a monitor to my small-screened Microsoft Surface Go, I ordered this item. It had to be able to connect to USB Flash Drives as well. I can't plug the HDMI cable into the long end of it because it sits on my desk awkwardly. I think it would be better if the HDMI port was plugged into the end for my setup. There may be something better out there for me that I will locate on my return. This product seems to work well, but I cannot stand how awkward it is to use. I love the rose gold color, but it is hard.
