That's a very strange thing to happen. This is what I'm using with my new 15" MacBook Pro 2018. My mouse or trackpad would lag every time I used it when it was connected to the computer. A delay is similar to this. When my computer started acting up, I initially thought it was a hardware issue. Interestingly, that delay was gone when I did some work without the device plugged in. With the hub removed, I tested it and the same result was obtained. No devices are connected to the hub when that is running. I tried this new product today for the first time since I bought it. I can't transfer power from my brand new macbook pro to it. With all the positive reviews of this product and the Amazon Choice rating I am now ordering a replacement of the same device to determine whether or not I simply received a "lemon" the first time. I also had everything checked by Apple before coming to the conclusion that this is the issue. Please keep us in your thoughts.

Disappointed as I bought it to charge my MacBook while simultaneously using it as a Sadly, if you connect a MacBook charger to the dongle, the power does not pass through to the laptop. Chargers can only be connected to the USB ports, but not charged. Update 9th June 2018 Seller contacted me and asked for a video showing the issue. If it was the product's fault, the seller offered to exchange it. I tried the product again and it appears to be working now. My laptop has not lost power once since purchasing this item, therefore I have added three stars to my review as a result of the responsiveness of the seller and because the product is currently passing through power to my laptop. My plan is to use the app for as long as it is available. We don't know why it didn't work before, but now it seems to work fine. No matter how I look at it, I am glad that I can charge as well as sync my.

I notice this hub has a tendency to stutter and stop every two or three seconds when it is connected to my MacBook Pro 2018. Although this might seem a small problem, it makes it virtually impossible to use the system. With the same laptop, I have seen at least one other user having the same problem. I'm not sure whether this would happen with other systems, but if it were I would not buy this if I were using a MacBook Pro, and probably not using.
