Since COVID shut down our fitness center at work, my exercise routine is to walk up and down five flights of stairs about a dozen times a day Especially when you get to the third lap, it gets pretty hot, and the top floor is really hot. In response to some reviews that said the battery compartment grew hot, I got a dollar store microfiber cloth and made an extra cover for the neck band. The fan is relatively quiet and although I could hear it, I would not call it irritating. Even at high speeds, it doesn't work. Listening to audiobooks while I do my stairwell laps isn't an issue since the fan sound doesn't impede me. Normally I run about 3 laps without the fan, then I turn it on low, do a few more laps on medium, and then I turn it on high for the last I am really happy with how this turned out. a great relief to see you again. The LED lights change colors if you are into that sort of thing (I'm not), so the fan would be wonderful for night walks outdoors.
