My first use of it outside was a couple of weeks ago. I have seen a huge difference thanks to it! It's so lightweight and so small that I wouldn't even notice it's there if it wasn't blowing air at It wasn't as if it would dry out my contacts initially, but that's what I'm glad to say! Three different speed settings make it pretty versatile, and I appreciate the smooth adjustable band. I found it to be durable and so far it has held a charge for quite some time. The noise it makes is one thing to pay attention to. A friend of mine gave me this to give to my mom who often complains about getting hot inside the hospital where she is on her feet all day long. I love this fan. She loves it. Her laptop has been in her hands for a few months now, and she uses it five days a week for many hours. The following morning, she just charges it over night and her laptop is ready for Her favorite part of it is how comfy and light it feels. She says she feels cooled down as she sits with the breeze on her neck and face. Besides its relatively high power, it has three speeds, which are just right (low, medium, and high). I was worried about her hair getting caught in it, but it has not happened. I think it looks nice as well, and the plastic doesn't feel like cheap plastic to me either, so we can't really complain about it. This is a great asset to her, and I'm glad she's using it so much.
