Questions & Answers

Why do you choose to leave out the duration?

Because it's only good for a month or less.

How can I tell if these will fit the hands of a large man?

They won't fit a big man's hands, in my opinion. These are a little tight on me because I'm a ladies medium.

Do you have to keep them plugged in all the time, or can you unplug them and do something else?

Yes, because of the heat, they must be plugged in at all times.

How much power (in amps and/or watts) does each heated pad consume?

Working Voltage of the USB Heated Gloves: 5V, 1- br>It can be plugged into a USB port on a laptop, computer, power bank, car charger, or other 5V power source for most devices.

They're perfect for what I'm looking for
5/5

To begin with, they aren't rechargeable; They need to be powered by a USB port. They can be connected to a USB battery pack, similar to what you'd use for backup phone power, so they're portable from that perspective, but I usually use them in my home office. br>br>My home office is in my basement, which can get a little chilly at times. I bought these with the intention of being able to type while keeping my hands warm, and they're perfect for that. Because you don't normally type with gloves on, there is a minor adjustment on typing, as with any fingerless gloves, but it only took a few minutes to get used to. br>br>The gloves would be useful in and of themselves, but with the heating element, they provide a boost of warmth to my cold hands. I use them with the heating element in my palms, which makes typing, using my phone, or using the mouse a breeze.

It was very warm, but not at all what I had in mind! These are extremely hot
3/5

However, I'm most likely going to return them. br>The warmers swish and swish and swish and swish and swish and sw I expected them to be all over the gloves, but it's a square warmer, maybe 2" by 2" (guesstimate) square in size, that just keeps moving around! br>I also bought these to help with my hand pain. It's not just for the sake of keeping my hands warm. br>As a result, I needed them to do more than just warm my palms, which is where that square always seems to end up. br>It's a little irksome! br>However, if you're buying them to keep your hands warm, they'll be warm. Perhaps the warmer is only present in that one area at that particular time.

Anything below 75 degrees Fahrenheit is ineffective
3/5

For my purposes, it is completely ineffective. br>br>Because I work at a computer, my hands get cold. The pads should be against your palm for the best heating, but this puts the cord in the way of quick movements. Because the large barrel connectors down the wrist keep getting caught on the edge of my desk or against my wrist when I switch the gloves to the top of the glove, less heat is retained and my fingers become cold. br>br>In addition, the material is extremely thin. When I put it on my hand and stretch the material, I can see my skin through the pores in the material. br>br>The heating elements simply cannot keep warm enough to keep my hands warm enough for extended gaming sessions. Nothing seems to work with this glove, including USB batteries and charging directly from a pd spec charger. They require a thicker material as well as a larger, hotter heat source.

Initially, I was dissatisfied, and then I became extremely dissatisfied
5/5

There was no USB power supply cable included with the gloves. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I like the gloves because they aren't as bulky as some of the others I looked at, making it easier to type with them. The customer service was outstanding, and I appreciate the effort made to replace the gloves.

Poor quality, a small heating area, and a confined space
3/5

These gloves are of mediocre quality at best; I have smallish hands (size s or m in any glove) and they are VERY tight. The heating element is a 2"x2" square that heats either your palm or the back of your hand, depending on which hand you wear which glove on. br>br>There is no temperature control or power switch. When connected to a USB power source, these are turned on; otherwise, they are turned off. Yes, while wearing these, you are tethered to your desk. br>br>Based on the amount of loose threads, they don't appear to have been designed to be fingerless gloves. It appears that they took a pair of regular, too small gloves and cut the fingers off with dull scissors before gluing in a heat pad. br>br>In general, I would not recommend. Is it true that they make my hands warm? Sort of. Would I purchase these again or give them as a gift? There is no way.

Cheap
3/5

Where the fingers were cut off and sewn, the majority of them are unraveling. The hole in the palm of one glove has unraveled and grown in size, and the little square patch that heats up is only on one side of the glove, but it has Velcro so it can be moved to either the palm or back side. "[HALF FINGER GLOVES W/ FINGER COVER]: [HALF FINGER GLOVES W/ FINGER COVER]: [HALF FINGER GLOVES W/ FINGER COVER]: [HALF FINGER GLOVES W/ FINGER COVER]: [HALF FINGER GLOVES W/ FINGER COVER]: [HALF FINGER GLOVES W/ It's half-finger for typing or gaming, but with the finger cover folded in the back, release the button to unfold the finger cover and keep your fingers warm when you're not typing. " As you can see in the photo, this feature is not available on the gloves. ".

Great product, but a little short on the mark
4/5

I was really looking forward to using these, and they do a good job of heating up quickly and are well worth the money. I dislike that the heat doesn't extend beyond the electric pad, so you only get a warm palm, but my exposed fingertips were still freezing cold while typing, defeating the whole purpose of why I bought it in the first place. They're really adorable. Although it was comfortable, I would have preferred to spend my money on something with heat levels comparable to similar products. I believe that increasing the heat a little would have greatly aided the situation. It's a little warmer than warm, but more heat is always better.

Junk
3/5

It's not clear how these gloves are supposed to be used. Each glove has what appears to be a medical electrode (glued in) with a cord dangling from it. A USB charger is included. So I charged each glove, and they warmed up to a comfortable temperature. However, the heat quickly dissipated once I unplugged them and put on the gloves. There is no heat in the heating element! So, you're supposed to put them on while they're plugged in? If you are, you won't be able to use your hands because they are powered by a single cord; if they had a battery, they might be useful, but these are ridiculous.
