They are comfortable and I would definitely recommend them. Designed with the heated pads located in the palms of the glove, where blood flows to quickly warm up your entire hand, the gloves are the ideal choice because they make your hands very warm. It was unfortunate that the right glove wasn't functioning. I didn't even have to return the defective one to them before they sent me a new one. I wasn't expecting something to arrive before Christmas, so I'm glad that's okay.
It takes less than a minute for these gloves to warm up. With the long cord, you're set up nicely. Good heating unit, but would prefer it to be top and bottom mounted. The only complaint I have about them, which is minor since I am able to have warm hands, is that they stink. I am hoping that the smell will fade when I am out in the open it is not so bad that I have stopped wearing them, but it is.
It really does heat up fast and quite a bit too with these fingerless gloves. There is almost too much heat in them. It gets too hot in there and I find I have to take them off so frequently that they are uncomfortable to wear for an extended period. If you want them to be really comfortable, there should be an extra layer of fabric between the heating element and your skin. The fact that they heat up is still good enough to award them 3 stars I have not been able to heat anything with a USB device in the past. I have some new information to share with you on January 1st, 2019. The gloves aren't heating up anymore, and one of them will not heat It takes just 7 days to see results like that. Please do not buy these gloves for children, the elderly, or anyone who has nerve damage and may not be able to determine when the gloves You can wear these for just a couple minutes before they become comfortable - the pads don't have to stay on your hands for too long either. If they are worn the other way around, you will need to do less work. The pads will either be returned to the manufacturer or I will take them.
