The last year has been using these to print with my Brother laser printer. There were no problems with previous orders last year, and page yield was very I purchased a toner set three weeks ago, and although it was advertised as 'high yield', the first cartridge ran out within three weeks, and I printed 350 single-sided pages with double spacing, without any graphics, Cartridges from last year are normally good for a thousand to two thousand prints I tried shaking my printer and resetting it, but still it refused to print after 1200 pages. I am not happy with the outcome I have had no problems printing simple unimportant pages for a month, but after I added the shipping labels there were some gaps next to the scanning bar and in other places. There is no way I can allow that to happen! It wasn't until I realized that my drum might need replacing that I noticed the gaps in my printing last time. The printer is a few years old so perhaps that is why. Then I bought a new drum ( which are expensive) and it still caused the same problem. In that case, I replaced the cheaper toner with Brother brand toner and the problem was solved immediately. In other words, I might be able to get away with this if I didn't need the shipping labels to be perfect, but that is clearly poor quality and not something that can work for me.
One of the printers we use at a local free clinic is the 2270DW. Compared with OEM supplies, they fit and perform like new at a fraction of the price. It was an easy process. The next time I order, I will reorder.
A genuine Brother TN 450 would last one year, but these OEM cartridges have not lasted over six months in a fairly slow year.
