Is it possible to separate the dividers and take them apart?

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Wilson Jones Report Cover. The dividers have been joined together. You remove the black binder clip to place pages behind the divider, then replace it with the black binder clip to keep the pages in place.

Is there a difference between the W55766 and the W55766D?

The products are identical in terms of information. When I went to the vendor's website to look up both products, I got the same results for both model numbers. The discrepancy, I believe, is due to distribution. If the product is purchased directly from the vendor, the product number will be W55766D. The product number will be listed as W55766 if it is distributed by a third party.

These binders are simple to use and create a professional-looking product

I give numerous client presentations. These binders are simple to use and create a professional-looking product. I get a lot of feedback on them, and the colored tabs make it easy to tell people which part of the presentation they should look at. Although the tabs have labels on them, I've found that most clients still refer to a section by the color of the tab. The binder, I believe, is only designed to hold 20 sheets. I was able to go over, so if you have a 25-sheet presentation, you may be able to fit more than 20 sheets depending on the paper used. You'll be close to the recommended 20-page limit if you use heavier paper.

The product was damaged when it arrived

The report cover is exactly what you'd expect, and the product itself is fine, but it came in a package that didn't adequately protect the case. The item was completely bent and useless when it arrived.
