First, I ordered a regular mount from the same company, not realizing I would need one that was taller. After trying it out, I sent it back for this taller version, which works much better Please note that the shorter/standard version of this app didn't hold up to my Apple Monitor! As for the old mount, it was stupid heavy, so I can't really blame it. What I would like to point out, however, is that this mount DOES hold the cinema display in place without it tipping forward. I say, "BUT!" It should work with the Cinema Display however, you DO need to buy an additional part that you can also get from here for $10. It attaches to the VESA plate directly. Again, this is not a criticism of the mount, this is an issue with Apple, which has a beautiful big monitor that even has no mounting points, aside from a big metal foot that cannot be removed. gorgeous but I'm really over Apple being so precious about their design - it still has to be usable doom! You will find that all of the tools you need are included, as well as lots of helpful touches like spots to store the allen wrenches in the cable management clips, which makes the kit feel quite Thank you. A clamp like this can be used to clamp on top of butcher block crafting tables. The "Standing" version of the mount is still mounted on the top but I did not need the hight (the third pole section is still attached to the top). Note in photos I attached a light facing up to provide indirect illumination. Simple lamp brackets could easily be fitted to the pole to use as an alternative lamp. Due to the fact that we use the table for crafting and projects, this setup allows me to move the laptop tray and monitor out of the way in order to maximize I previously reviewed the fans separately, which you can read about in one of my reviews of the tray. The picture of the tray shows two fans that I custom cut and mounted. Specifically, the laptop is a Dell E7240 with a 12. 5" screen. A screen this size won't fit on a 24" monitor. It has a 5" screen. Upon receiving this stand I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and strength. It is called the Thick, sturdy metal is used to make the mounting bracket and clamp. I would trust either of them to hold if I were installing with either of them. This grommet mount worked well for me. I should have read the directions and looked at all the parts before drilling a 2" circle in my desktop. I drilled a 3/8" hole and found out that the bolt is not a sleeve, but only a 3/8" bolt. I would have liked that to be clearer, but I'm not docking a star. In any case, all in all, my experience with the system has been As soon as I tightened all the joints on my laptop and 27-inch monitor, everything became extremely sturdy and did not show any signs of unwanted movement. It would have been nice if I could have found a model with a wider laptop tray, so I could also put my mouse on the tray.

It is solid. Make sure they are of high quality. Price is good, only thing I would change is the tiny adjustment tension screws to be bigger and A few weeks ago, I encountered a screw that would not tighten. It would have been better to use a Phillips head screw with a small head. There is no way to repair this tiny screw other than by boring It is so tiny that it is difficult to handle. It would be helpful if the screws were improved. You may also give me suggestions on how to fix this if it is a common problem. It would be appreciated if you could assist.
