In spite of this, I have refused to replace the matte screen on my laptop because Apple stopped manufacturing matte screens several years ago. My reflections on the screen are distracting. I finally purchased one a couple of months ago, and it is a very expensive device. As far as I can tell, this product resolves that problem I tried, but it didn't work. There are just as many reflections on the dark areas of this screen as on the screen itself, because it is as glossy as the screen itself. For those who want to protect their screen, this may be great But this won't eliminate reflections (or at least in my case, it didn't).
