To regain some desk space and align my laptop with our external monitor while working, I moved my laptop to the right side of the desk. The arm looked like a good fit for that use and was similar to the arm for my external display I had using the AmazonBasics monitor arm. I find that it works quite well for this purpose, though there are a couple issues.
1) This mount is more bouncy than I had originally planned or anticipated. A slight touch of the laptop while on the mount or a slight jostle of the table will cause it to bounce a fair bit, both for quite some time, before eventually settling back to a normal position. 4) If there were a way to lock it in place, that would be great. As far as the gas spring mechanism goes, it seems to be one of the better ones, and when I need to reposition the laptop, I really like it. Nevertheless, it is more of a liability than a benefit to me to rely on this function. My laptop isn't always on the stand, so I might have to switch out to another laptop from time to time. I find that the stand will shoot up when I switch out or just lift out my laptop. In addition, since I use my laptop and external display very close together when using them, when the stand rises upon removing the laptop, it invariably strikes the bezel edge of the external monitor, causing.
It is impossible to read the instruction manual that comes with this mount and there is some confusing information that leaves you guessing and wasting your time.
I almost put it all back into the box for return when I realized how badly the instructions are written. In addition, I realized at the end that I had extra screws. About three times I went through the manual and noticed it never indicated how these were to be used. Later, it became apparent to me that the screws secure the laptop to the back of the tray by pushing them into place. It is not a product that I would recommend, but instead suggest you consider other brackets for your arm. The only reason I decided to keep it is that I finally got it to work and I do not want to waste any more time resetting it.
When I'm walking on an elliptical machine, I use the handle to lift my screen.
An installation should take about an hour and a half. This normal installation should only take a few minutes. My allens were a little loose at first, but I tightened them and this was perfect. I still know this could handle a lot, but I tightened them way too much. A lot of backpedaling ensued. This is a very sturdy piece. I appreciate it. That's exactly what the doctor.
I'm delighted with it! There's a bit of a weight to it, but it's from the solid construction.
The idea appeals to me. As a result, I use it with The coffee table is made from wood.
I use it to hold my laptop, and it works.
For setting up my laptop, I bought this. Because of an error with the postal service, I had to wait several days for the package to arrive, and the screws and parts were There is some discrepancy between what's on the package and the actual item.
