Those were the thoughts I had. The item was promptly delivered to me, and it was promptly installed on my computer. As far as my first impression goes, I was pleased. It seemed to be a very nice weight and quality. A few days later, I noticed that one of the seams had unravelled or perhaps had not been properly stitched. Despite only using the device once or twice, I had no complaints. My first reaction was a not so nice email to the company since I was so pissed off. My gracious response was to have Erik send out two replacements, and I was justified in feeling like a heel. There is no need for complicated installation, and these covers fit perfectly, much better than those cheapo alternatives. The quality of their work is excellent.

Each cover is appealing to me in some way. The dust problems I had before purchasing them are no longer an issue. When one of my dogs tried to remove the cover of the printer, he scratched the surface. Even though her sharp claws did not penetrate the cover, there were some scratch marks on it. I just got myself a new Asus laptop There is one monitor designed with a 4 inch deep stand that enables the monitor to sit almost 4 inches deep right where the stand attaches to the monitor, so I was concerned the 3 inch deep cover would fit, but it did.
