Questions & Answers

Can you tell me whether the interior card holder is hard plastic or soft foam? In order for cards not to fall out, how does it happen? Thanks a lot! ?

The disks appear to be held in place by a rubberized material. My husband and I purchased two of these and are very satisfied with the product. The red snap handle is easy to use and provides a secure closure. Despite its hard plastic material, the case retains an extremely high level of protection for the As part of my test, I filled each of the card slots, fully opened the plastic protector (card side down), and tapped the backside of the case to see if it had internal grip. It is unlikely that any cards fell from their slots. As well, I threw the case in a full sink of water to check the floatability and water resistant properties of the case. In conclusion, there is no interior water and the boat There is no doubt that this is a superior product, and I will buy more. Mr. J D Jones

It appears to be quite large 14 x 4 x 8 inches. Are the dimensions accurate?

A width of 14 inches isn't correct. Instead, a width of 4x8 is probably correct. There are 3 of them and I can fit one of them in the pocket of my coat. I think there might be one. The thickness of this letter is 4 inches.

Are the liners necessary? Can the case be used without them? Is it possible to remove the liners?

Please don't use this case without liners. Thanks.

Can I use a Lexar professional 1000x 256GB UHS-II card with it?

The SD card slot supports both the standard size cards as well as the micro size cards.

DON'T MISS IT! Right now, this case is on its way back to the court
3/5

In addition to a PNY card, I inserted an American Express. It fit a bit snugly, but it could have fit better. The card has a stiff base that is hard to remove, and you actually have to push it away again with your fingernail. In the second slot, I inserted a Sandisk card and it wouldn't fit entirely. As a result of applying minimal force to the card, the Sandisk case split in half along its edge seam due to the extremely stiff rubber of the slot. It's a snap! I threw away a $25 gift card. After trying some old/slow/corrupt Sandisk cards that I am no longer using, I saw how the super tight, very hard rubber slots cracked every single one while inserting or removing the card. I am not putting another card in this SD deathtrap! No way! You should switch to a lower density rubber or open cell foam, if you are listening, Kora! It's a shame.

A recessed slot that is too tight damages SD cards
3/5

The problem was only discovered when I noticed the upper left corners of my SD cards were separating. Some old and brittle cards had developed the problem. The cards have been updated. I noticed the upper left corner of the SD card rose up when I lifted it out of the recessed slot and that the back was still held tight by the rubber base of the Next, I checked the rest of the slots and they were all displaying the same error. This was caused by the rubber base being squeezed into place, which caused the slots to become a bit tight. . I cut the lower) with exact knife and the problem ceased, but then the inner lining would fall out when the case is opened, so I stopped thinking about it. As a photographer, I have an eye for detail and composition Three of my three cameras have a dozen SD cards, but four of them are not working There was a slight separation on two of the others. Having a fear that the cards will hang up in the camera slots prevents me from using them.

I've tried it and it works
5/5

It is my daily task to deal with memory cards. I liked this solution because it helped me keep track of things. These are great for outdoor use in all types of I like that it's a simple, straight forward product that does as advertised. It takes a little while to figure out how to insert and remove Micro SD cards In every case, I keep a large paperclip and use it to pop the card away from the rounded end. Thanks a lot.

A SD card case like this is not a good purchase
3/5

While I have had this for over a year now, I can attest that it does hold SD cards. However, there are some serious limitations to it. A big problem I have with this is that you cannot put an SD card in an empty slot next to one that is already full. Even at the proper size, it can (as it did with me) crack the ribs from the SD card. This gives the feeling that the sizing is slightly off because even with just one card, there is still way too much flexing and micro cracking taking place. That alone would make me never, ever use this thing in a serious shoot, because I would be adding yet another potential failure point. I dropped mine in salt water and the cards inside didn't suffer in any way. So I'd say it's not totally useless. If you shake the box around, you will notice that the cards will fall out. Also, it seems to be impact resistant. It is not unusual for me to find all the cards strewn throughout the case after work. It would be best to just buy a case from a name brand. The difference between a case from pelican and this one is just about SD cards are so crucial as they are that I'd rather choose another product even if it meant traveling without them.

I have no problems with my SD and micro SD cards, so feel free to do This is not the first time that I have purchased a camera bag that does not have an SD card pocket, but I have had other bags without them in the past
5/5

In order to prevent my SD cards from just sitting in a bag pocket, I tried looking for ways to keep them from just falling out. The pros include Please note Most of the other SD card cases all seem to have very flimsy hinges, which made me think they would be very difficult to open. There are some of them that are just plastic that you bend over and over again in hopes that it will not get cracked. In addition to having the strongest hinge and construction (and being weatherproof), this case also appeared to be the best-looking. haven't had a lot of time to test this out, but it feels sturdy in the hand. It was tough making a decision based on all the negative reviews saying that the SD cards did not decided it was worth the $8 risk and took the risk. My SD cards and micro SD cards fit perfectly, as do all of my other memory cards. Even though there may be some variations, I can assure you that it may be possible to find a version that fits your needs. The cons are Please note that The cards aren't much to talk about, I can imagine if you got too deep, they would be hard to remove, but so far they have not proved difficult for me to remove. Please note A negative of the case being sturdy is the fact that it feels rather heavy. Depending on how you view it, this is both good and bad. I conclude that It is hard for me to say for sure, but since I will be keeping it inside of my bag, I don't see this falling apart anytime Overkill just seems to be the case here I built it for my own The possibility of getting a bad copy and returning it would keep me from getting another one for this price. This may be the best eight dollars I've spent in a very long time since everything seems to cost more nowadays.

A terrible situation
3/5

Sadly, this product does not protect my cards, and I paid too much for it. My cards do not stay in place, so every time I open the case, each and every card falls to the floor or on top of each other, even if I do not move the case. Once the case closes, all cards fall on one another. This is definitely not something I would suggest.

We lost 2 SD cards due to the corrupted files
3/5

That's a tight fit. It was exciting when I met it the first time. I thought it was going to be great! The case looks good. The SD card slots were a bit tight so some pushing was needed to insert all the way through. The case is rugged for falls and looks nice inside. In the end, I decided to leave the SD cards behind because it became more difficult to remove them. One of the reasons I gave it one star rather than two, which is not normal for me, was that TWO SD cards were broken! Having been a professional photographer for several years you know what that means. This is one of those things you think will be nice but doesn't work out as you planned! The pieces would break off and the tops of the cards would break off so it was difficult to get out. There was nothing I could do but throw them away. A different type of holder was bought as well.
