My keyboard looks great and is kept clean with it! The garment is easy to put on and stays in place. There are no issues with riding up on this bed and it lays flat. My personal preference is not to use the adhesive sticker because I want to be able to take it off and shake it off/clean it later. As a result of this, it slides a little when you move it, but only if you push your hands up and move them up and down. Fortunately most people will not notice anything, and if it is a problem, you can use the provided sticky stickers to keep it in place to prevent slipping. If you want to see the brightness of the keys, I would highly recommend the CLEAR one over the BLACK one the dark skin prevents it from showing, but the CLEAR skin does not do that. What a great idea!.
Despite what you might think, the photos are As I explain below, there is a cause for the fuzzy appearance. Although the cover is beautiful and has an excellent texture, it is not aligned with the lighted letters on the keyboard in a good way, which can create a distracting out of focus appearance at night or when my eyes are adjusting to the dim light. This is a case I have in a different color for my MacBook Pro that fits well and I like It has been aggravating and disappointing since this update arrived for my Air.
This is enough to make me happy. It does exactly what I intended it to do, so I give it 4 stars. Please keep the grime out of my keyboard (as you can see from the picturesh Thank you. Sorry. The human race is one big family). Besides being picky, I'm a bit cynical as well. In saying that, one of the most striking aspects of the cover is the print. There is a slight difference between the key and the key itself, and it bugs me every now and then. There is either a shadow in between them or they do not line up. It is a bit disappointing that it does that, but I mentioned that it does the job it is supposed to do. Keeps its focus all day long and does not pop up at any time.
It is a great look for my new macbook air keyboard skin - I really like it. Due to the extremely hot weather recently, the sticky substance was clinging to the keys and interfering with their operation It was a very humid and hot day with high temperatures in the 90's, and I have no air conditioning. Although I had to remove it, I plan on putting it back once it has cooled.
Had this protector not been there, all those items would have fallen under my keys! Although I found it a bit cumbersome, I still like it!.
Many people do not even realize it exists. While this clear keyboard cover does not adhere to the keyboard, it fits perfectly over the keys. I can easily lift off the keyboard when I am typing, but it doesn't move when I'm typing. Since it keeps dust and crumbs from falling between the keys, and it can be washed if I touch it with sticky fingers when I'm eating while working, I really like it.
The only light visible is a small green one. As I recall, I tried adjusting the keyboard cover in order to get it to work. It doesn't fit perfectly with the other keys either. This cover does not have the capslock, so if it's important to you, then you should not purchase 1) You cannot see the MacBook keyboard light through the lid. You cannot see through the cracks of the keys, despite the cover being transparent through the cracks. Having trouble seeing the keyboard at night may require you to take the keyboard off.
