The problem is that I bought it about 7 months ago and it has somehow stretched out or something like that. At first I bought it to fit my keyboard perfectly, but now the lanyard is loose and sticks up when I hit space bar and There is something about this that A white spacebar is beginning to lose its color as well. Many people do not like the feel of these rubbery keyboard covers, but I personally have always preferred them. The incident with the scary coffee was especially frightening. I find it to be equally as good as any other cover I have used before. is very well suited for my keyboard and I do not have to worry about it falling off. It was a different brand, but I stopped using it because the keys became harder to push when using that brand. Using this doesn't make it any harder to use, in fact, it kind of makes it easier than using my actual MacBook keyboard. Because the laptop is so thin, the keys are nearly at the level of the entire computer, so eating at the computer is never a great idea. I learned this lesson when I brought it in for repairs after the keys were stuck. I would have had to pay $500 to repair the problem if warranty coverage had not been provided! What a mess! After I learned my lesson, I felt better. The keyboard cover is just what I need, and it does the job very well. I like it because it's so thin that it doesn't impede the laptop's ability to close properly and you can easily type at it. This came in handy as a temporary substitute for shipping by continental drift, but after ordering the replacement key we couldn't get it until Prime arrived. As far as the intended purpose is concerned, it works well enough- There is no longer any feeling in the broken key, and it is holding it in place until a replacement is delivered. I find it fits well enough, but it does change the feel of the keyboard and I have to use more force when There is no permanent attachment to the keys instead, it simply lays over the top of them. If not horizontal, it slips. Worked well on an angle in bed, but not so well on a flat surface. Considering the fact that my e and command keys have worn down to the point where I can no longer read the letters, it also looks nice.
