**Update after two months: I can't imagine going back now that I've been using it for two months. I'm afraid of dropping crumbs, water, or general dust in between the keys because it feels like the keyboard is naked. As I mentioned earlier, this product is inexpensive enough that you can simply discard it after heavy use and replace it. On future laptops, I will almost certainly continue to use this protection. br>br>As the title suggests, I didn't like it at first and planned to remove it and use the keyboard normally, but over the course of a few days, I grew to appreciate it. I prefer not to use the adhesion to keep it on because I find the glue marks to be unsightly, but it does a good job of holding itself in place by hugging the keys. This cover will not catch up with you if you aren't running around with it. Basically, it's cheap enough to throw away if you don't like it, so why not spend a little more to protect it?.
I'm not sticking it to my keyboard, and I'm not going to. It's a tad more rigid in general. The key imprint is slightly deeper than my most recent Mosiso (a good thing for not slipping around), and the cover has a slightly different feel than a Mosiso cover. However, I'm perplexed as to why the function (F) keys aren't covered. Although I understand that Touch ID is not covered, the function keys should be. I would have placed a different order if I had known. To be fair, the left-hand tab that covers the ESC key is larger than the key itself, which is yet another design flaw I don't understand.
Are you one of those people who has to eat in front of their laptop because of X or Y? Maybe it's to meet a deadline, or maybe it's because you don't have a long lunch break? If that's the case, then this is for you, my friend. I should know because I am one of them.
I enjoyed having it, but I didn't like how it looked in the end for my aesthetic, but it's a great product if you want to keep your keys neat and tidy.
I've bought protectors that are thicker or stiffer, but this one provides adequate protection without compromising performance. The "feel" of the keyboard has not changed. Purchase it.
Overall, it performs admirably and is pleasant to the touch. The lighter keys become filthy quickly and are easily noticeable. It's been about three months since I got it, and it's still in good shape. No tears.
The adhesive is very visible, and the smaller adhesive dots did not come off the adhesive pack. Overall, the cover is attractive, but the adhesives could be improved to make them less noticeable.
It's good and does what it's supposed to do, which is to protect.
