This does not work with M1
This is the system I use on my 13-inch laptop A MacBook Pro is perfect for me, which is the 15-inch model. With this installation, the keys go right over the fingerprint reader and it is easy to close the lid with it closed, allowing me to access the finger print reader. Let me know if this is helpful!
As a result, the keyboard light appears. Despite its dimness, the scene remains uninspiring. This image will not appear on the keys due to the cover it is covered by, but if it is displayed outside the outer part of the keyboard, it is possible to see it.

I bought the app because I wanted it to make using the Korean alphabet easier (I don't have it memorized like I have the English alphabet), and it does exactly It is just that some of the keys on the keyboard are different from what I have on my Mac because the keyboard is one generation older than mine. It was obvious to me when I purchased the cover since I could not find anything more current. In my opinion, the reason for the 4 stars is because the light doesn't seem to shine through at all, which isn't a huge deal, but important if you want backlighting.
I was able to use it perfectly for my MacBook Air 2020. Even though the keyboard fit a bit loose, it's ok since it comes with stickers to stick on to it. I wash it with soap and water, but wasn't sure how to properly clean it because a towel or napkin leaves particles on it and makes it hard to clean. Even without stickers, it does not move around and does not seem like there is a huge amount of protection on my keyboard. It is thin and to the point, so I would purchase it once more Although it is sturdy, and it looks like it would last quite a while.
I love it! I have it installed on my MacBook Air M1, it fits almost perfectly and has just the right thickness that I do not have to remove There is only a very slight transparency of the keyboard lights, but I don't need them anyway. Paper-thin and stays still, almost as if it's floating. Besides serving as a keyboard splash and dust protector, it also serves as a Korean language sticker. This is the perfect way to kill two birds with Anyone would be pleased with this book.
This case has a cutout for the Touch ID as well as the caps lock light. As far as cleaning is concerned, I used alcohol to clean and it worked well. It also decreases keyboard clicking noises and fingernail tapping noises a bit.
The new M1's F4 key should be "look up" and F5 should be "dictation" and F6 should be "do not disturb". On this cover, those F keys are the same as on previous Macs.
Looking for a solution that works better will be on my list of things to do. I found that the backlight was not as bright as it could have been.
I liked it at first, but by the end it didn't tethered to the keyboard. As a result, I had to use more effort to hit each key.
It's pretty good. As thick as it is, it will not get ripped on accident and it's thin enough that I can close my laptop with it on the keyboard without any problems. I know it doesn't fit perfectly on my keyboard, but it's close enough so that it's not an issue when working.
