You should be fine if you order it after December of 2017. I ordered mine months later, but it only works with a MacBook Pro with the touch pad, so yes, I believe it will work.
To find one that fits without a touch bar, search for'mosiso a1708 keyboard cover.'
We're sorry, but our EU marketplace only has the EU version of the keyboard cover.

This is a great idea. The majority of the shortcuts appear to be correct (though a few are missing). The coverage of the most important areas is quite good. I'm guessing it'd be useful as a deterrent. It sits nicely on the keyboard and doesn't move much, but it will peel back if you catch something on one of the ends. It's not a big deal because you just fold it back down, but it's something to keep in mind. br>br>The issue is that the MacBook Pro simply does not allow for something like this to be useful while typing. I'm one of the few people who likes the butterfly key design, but let's face it, key travel is already quite short; add a layer of silicone and it's nearly non-existent. existent. It's not a problem if you're a slow typer who prefers to peck away at the keys, but trying to rip something off quickly becomes a problem. Because of the tackiness of the silicone, my typing is noticeably slower, and my fingers don't flow as freely around the keys. As a result, typing is an unpleasant experience. br>br>I'm trying to get into this, but it's more of a hindrance than a help (until a cup of coffee comes crashing across my desk, that is). I have to take it off to type anything longer than a few sentences, and I have a feeling it will be removed permanently in the future.
This was purchased for my Apple MacBook Pro 2018 A 1990 with touch bar, which is 15 inches in size. This is a good match. Typing is straightforward. It aids in the learning of keyboard shortcuts. There are two misspelled words, but it's not a big deal. Nobody will notice because the backlighting is effective. There aren't many keyboard covers that include shortcuts. These colors and the way they're done appear to be the best, but you can always change it out for something more decorative once you've figured it out. It is simple to put on.
The cover's bottom half overlaps the keyboard in-between the keys. It has a slight dent in it and does not fit the "fn" or right arrow keys properly. Finally, because of the information printed on the cover, the key lights are blocked from shining through. I'm not going to buy it again, but I'll keep using it.
This keyboard cover did the job, but it was a pain to use. My husband was irritated by it, so whenever he borrowed my laptop, he'd gently lift it off and set it to the side until he was finished; Unfortunately, removing it stretched it out in some places, and it no longer lays flat. To be fair, I'm sure it's not meant to be removed on a regular basis, and I eventually grew accustomed to it, but I've since discovered a brand that is less noticeable while typing. This one lasted a few months for me, but I'm sure it would have lasted longer if my husband hadn't taken it apart and replaced it so many times. Not because it warped (which I'd blame on us for not leaving it on), but because it was so bothersome that my husband felt compelled to take it off in the first place. br>br>However, the writing was easy to read, and I enjoyed learning some shortcuts!.
I recently purchased a 2017 MacBook Pro, so I'm new to Macs. I bought it to protect my butterfly keyboard and make it easier to learn keyboard shortcuts. br>br>The build quality appears to be adequate and well molded for a good fit. I don't like how the numbers on the top row aren't in the same place on the key each time - a few are still available- Others are correct, while some are justified. The keyboard's backlighting is also blocked by the cover, making typing in the dark a little tricky if you don't know your "home keys. " br>The paint on the keys isn't very good, so I expect it to flake or peel away after a while. br>Overall, it's not bad, especially for the price; however, I think I'll just go with a clear model next time.
date. For $7. 99, the silicone keyboard cover is up to par. What I like about it is that it includes short cuts as well as all of the standard key symbols that appear on the actual keys, so when you turn it on, you'll have everything you need to know that you wouldn't have memorized. So far, I haven't had any dislikes. It's been less than a week; I'll post an update if any new information becomes available.
It includes all of your Mac's shortcuts as well as features you may not be aware of. When I open my MacBook, I always get compliments on it. Even the Apple store employees are awestruck by it. br>br>I'm on my third MacBook and have always purchased thisbr>br>WOULD RECOMMEND IT.
The keys aren't up to date with the most recent Mac shortcuts; many are no longer functional, and some are missing entirely. It stays on well, but it is slightly thicker than others and sits on top of the keys rather than hugging them, but it does not move, and I like the feel. Despite having several keyboard covers, this is the one I prefer, though updating the shortcuts and better fitting the keys would be a welcome addition.
