MacBook Pro (13") A2289 - User Review The quality of the material is excellent. silicone of a high quality and durability It is NOT, however, a high-end product. As stated on the package, precision molding. As you can see in the photos, I compared another keyboard cover to this MOSISO Keyboard Cover, and the latter does not completely cover the keys. It does not offer complete protection against dust, spills, and other hazards. br>br>PROS:
- Made of high-quality materials silicone of a high quality and durability
- Semi- typing is pleasurable
- The appearance is identical to that of your MacBook Pro. It blends in with the keyboard. br>br>Because it's less than $8, I'm not going to bother returning it.
This keyboard was good at first, but it feels like your fingers grip it too tightly when you use it. I've only had it for two months and when I lifted it off to clean it, I noticed some residue on my keyboard! To get it off, I had to use all of my keys. I was worried that this keyboard protector would ruin it, but it only came off after a lot of rubbing. Use with caution. After only 2 months of use, I'm not sure what residue is left underneath. But it's not good!.
I used it on my brand new MacBook M1 and was very pleased with it - It was comfortable to wear, and typing was still enjoyable. But, after using it for two months, I removed it for the first time and discovered that the cover's material had reacted with the surface of the keys in some way - On a lot of the keys, it left permanent hazy marks. I've tried a few different cleaning methods, but it still won't come off, as if it's permanently etched in. Given that it was a brand new MacBook, the fact that you can only see it if the light shines on the keys at the right angle irritates me greatly. It's also possible that this is a general issue with silicone skin covers. However, based on my personal experience, I would advise against using it.
I figured I'd take a chance because it was listed as in excellent condition and was only a few dollars. The description was accurate, and the item was in excellent condition with few signs of wear. It was a perfect fit for my computer keyboard, it's super easy to install and remove if you need to clean it, I love the mint green color, and it'll keep dust and dirt off my keyboard - It was primarily for this reason that I purchased it. My only two minor gripes are that the backlighting isn't as bright as I'd like it to be and that the cover is a little too grippy for my fingers to move freely. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with this cover for only a few dollars.
Everything will be fine. It'll do the job, and the texture of the cover is lovely, but it doesn't quite fit my MacBook (which has an A2338 M1 chip that's listed as compatible). It's a little off, and it doesn't sit quite right on the keys. For the time being, I'll continue to use it because it keeps the keyboard clear and clean, but anyone who owns a 2020 MacBook Pro should be aware of this.
Just make sure you get the right size for your Mac by looking at the model number on the back. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. My collection is limited to just one. The box claims that the material allows you to see the light from the keys, but it does not, even when the keyboard brightness is turned up all the way.
I've been on the lookout for something sturdy and long-lasting. This isn't going to let you down. It arrived on time, and when I put it on my keyboard, it was a perfect fit. br>br>When I shut down my laptop, there was no residue or marks on the screen, which is a huge relief after previous keyboard cover experiences. The backlight is barely visible through the keys, which is a bit disappointing. Despite having the brightness turned all the way up in the photo, I can barely make out the letters in a dark room; If that's a deal breaker, you're better off with a clear cover. br>br>Aside from that, this cover is well worth getting.
It protects the keyboard, but it has a few flaws. However, it is not worthwhile to return it. I'll say that the Touch Bar isn't hidden and is still accessible. The letters and symbols on the skin don't line up perfectly with any of the keys, but it's not so sheer that it's noticeable during the day; the function key is completely incorrect, and the space bar has the company's logo on it, which is tacky; the function key is completely incorrect; and the space bar has the company's logo on it, which is tacky. Aside from that, it's soft, doesn't obstruct my typing, and is a good product; I mean, I wasn't expecting much for such a low price, so I'm happy with the value, but not so much with the product.
