I bought the black/light gray a couple of weeks ago. The word "KUZY" is written in a font of about 14 on the far right side of the space bar. It isn't a deal breaker for me, in my opinion.
According to the product description, it will fit a 13", 15", and 17" Macbook Pro with or without retina, as well as a 13" iMac and Macbook Air. As a result, it should fit your Macbook Pro 17" and Macbook Pro 15" if you follow the instructions in the description.
Because it's transparent, yes, it does.
It certainly ought to be. Personally, I have a 13-inch MacBook Pro, but it is designed to fit the 13-inch MacBook Air as well! Yes, the laptop completely shuts down!

I've bought Kuzy products before (with no problems), so this one caught me off guard. I ordered my Kuzy Keyboard Cover (which was advertised as being compatible with *my* MacBook Air 13 inch) in June 20201. A2337 model; Number of Pieces: Z125000DN) but am disappointed because the cover does not allow the lighted feature of my MacBook's lighted keyboard to pass through, and the markings/labels on the Kuzy Keyboard Cover for the top row of keys (function keys/special purpose keys) do not match those on the actual keyboard. br>br>I don't want a replacement (at least not without returning the one I have as I don't want the one I have to go to a dump, nor do I have where I live and how I live- the ability or means to find a new home- especially if it's a faulty product). And it was/is a minor issue. But I'm hoping it's just a blip for others, and not something else they've had to deal with with this item- or Kuzy as a whole.
It brightens up and refreshes the look of my laptop! So far, everything has gone well. I just got it (actually, I'd had it for a week and hadn't realized it!) lol I had also ordered a new card reader, which was at the bottom of the box, but it came in a very thin flat box, almost like a piece of paper, and it was hidden beneath the packing and I didn't notice it. So I put in an order that had not been received, thought about it, and went back to check the box again, and there it was! lol I'm overjoyed. As a result, cancer has not yet received the order. Amazon is my favorite store! ) so I'm typing on it for the first time, and I really like the color and how it looks, and I can type on it quite well, though my fingers do seem to catch on the edges occasionally, but that's just because I'm not used to it yet, and I'll get better as time goes on. And, strangely enough, I enjoy the sound it makes when I type. chuckle. I prefer the feel of this keyboard to that of the original; it's a little more gentle. They should have used a silicone coating on the keys on the computers in the first place, with non-slip letters! I've had that problem with my last two Macs (laptops): I have the Air right now, and the letters wore off pretty quickly, so I have the stick-on kind, but the letters will wear off eventually as well, so I'm glad I found this! It's even less expensive than the press-on ones! To match the key cover, I intend to purchase the entire case cover as well. So get one if you're a klutz with your keys. I'm a sculptor, and I use my laptop to look at references, and sometimes my fingers get clay, epoxy, or paint on them, so I think that's why the letters wear off so quickly, or it could just be that I'm on it a lot and type a lot, but either way, I like the color selection.
This item appeals to me greatly. It keeps hair, skin flakes, and food off the keyboard, which was a huge mess on my old Acer machine, and wiping the keys on top didn't help because the mess got under the keys. My macbook pro was brand new when I started using the product, and it still looks brand new. The keyboard cover can be refreshed with a damp cloth, or you can give it a full wash with dish detergent if there have been any major spills. It looks brand new when you take it out of the package. br>br>Also, keep in mind that on the plane, the flight attendant will pass glasses of water right over your keyboard, ruining your trip with just a drop. I'm not sure how much liquid this device can take-- Liquid can still get in at the edge, but it should repel quite a bit over the center. Finally, while some may describe the sensation as "abnormal," there is an unexpected benefit. When you type quickly, the shallow keys bottom out, causing repetitive stress disorder. The cover dampens the shock of the keys a little, so I haven't had any of the usual physical complaints from using the laptop keyboard, and it also dampens the noise of the clicks, so my wife doesn't mind if I typebr>while she's trying to sleep. br>br>I am a heavy user who types quickly, and after about two months, it began to wear out for me. Heavy typing causes it to stretch over the space bar and then rise up, allowing liquid to easily get in between the wrinkles, so buy a few and keep one in reserve. Keep in mind that fast typing can make the tops of the keys slick, so the cover helps to protect the keys. br>br>The purple ombre color scheme is fun, and the grey ombre version looks more sophisticated than the original keyboard. br>br>The caps lock light is a source of complaints. It is clearly visible on mine. br>br>Follow-up-on-up-on-up-on-up-on-up-on-up-on The color of the A key fades after a few weeks for me. The purple ombre was the one that wore out the most quickly-- after only one week Then the black keys show through, which looks filthy and detracts from the otherwise attractive appearance. After a month of pounding on the space bar, the cover begins to wrinkle. However, because I type quickly all day, I'd consider this a wear-and-tear issue rather than a flaw.
