I'm not a fan of keys wearing down (letter markings fading) over time or becoming oily/dirty from all the things we have on our hands, so this is a great way to keep my laptop in good shape. It took some getting used to, but after a few days, it seemed to fit more snugly. It has a velvety feel to it, rather than being slick plastic. Although the color was not as bright or as gradual as I had hoped from the product photos, I still think it adds a nice pop of color. Closer inspection reveals that the color isn't completely opaque; it appears chalky or foggy, but for less than $7, I'm fine with that. I like that it keeps dust out of the keys and that it can be removed for easy cleaning.
It came in padded packaging. It was purchased for my HP Envy x360 (a newer model). i7) It's super light and easy to put on (just be careful not to pull too hard when taking it out of the sleeve). The keyboard skin is fairly thin)br>It looks like a skin for your keyboard, and the colors are pleasant - ideal match - I recommend not scratching the keypad cover because it may cause the coloring to fade and detract from the laptop's aesthetic appeal. br>Size issues have been an issue for some people. br>Check the alignment of the windows key to see if it fits. alt key - and the x key (if they're in the same place on your keyboard - This will fit)br>I've had it for a week or two and it appears to be fine. When typing, you may misspell some words at first due to the keyboard cover, but it also gives quieter typing sound due to the typing keys sound being subdued by the cover. Good buy.
I haven't tested its waterproofing (and have no plans to), but it's fantastic in every other way! My keys were so worn that I couldn't read the letters on the home row, but now they're easy to read thanks to the blue ombre color scheme. I was concerned that it wouldn't fit properly, but it did. Despite the fact that the key covers appear to be opaque, I can see the indicator light for my mute button through them, which was a pleasant surprise. It's thin enough to allow my laptop to close completely, and I'm very pleased with it. This product was not given to me for free, and I was not compensated or rewarded in any way for writing it. That's how good the keyboard case is.
Because my program is entirely online, I knew I'd be spending a lot of time on my laptop, which meant lots of snacking while studying late at night! But I wanted to keep crumbs and other yucky things out of my new purchase. This skin is not only lovely to look at, but it also performs admirably. There won't be any slippage. There hasn't been any fading of the color. Through the skin, I can still see the keyboard's backlight. Every two weeks or so, I take it off to clean it. It effortlessly returns to the keyboard; I adore it!.
I should have done a better job of looking, but I believe the seller could have done a better job of describing the item. "Doesn't fit old envy, but it does fit new," it stated. " I'm realizing now that this isn't the most up-to-date description because the newest envy has finger scan, and this won't work. In addition to the finger scan, the top line of keys was completely off. It's nice if this fits your product.
I couldn't read the gray-on-black writing on the keys before. I haven't had the opportunity to clean it yet, but I'm confident it will be a simple task. It was also a good value.
I just bought this for my HP Envy x360, and this keyboard cover is so cute and definitely worth the price. The HP Envy x360 can fold completely back so that you can use the screen as a table, and it stays in place even when I have the keyboard on my lap while using the screen. I'm glad I got it because it's super cute.
I really like this, but the only negative thing about it is that it doesn really STICK or snap in place on All I want is for other potential buyers to be aware of the flaw. There may be a way to secure it without causing damage to the laptop, but we're not willing to risk it.
