There is no better keyboard protector than this one for the 2018 Macbook Air. I love the way it fits and how thin it is. There is an exceptional sense of smoothness and comfort while typing. Having OCD, I would change the size of the circle for the Cap Lock Light. It is larger than the light circle and looks weird because it is bigger than the circle for the light but overall it is.

It appears the paint on the keys starts to wear off on my 2019 MacBook Air after a couple months of usage. A protective cover has been purchased to prevent this from happening. A keyboard cover that fits perfectly is provided here. Typing on it required only a little adjusting to get used to. taste the F and J dots when you're typing, which can help you to easily distinguish between the keys. Sadly, it does not allow light to pass through the keys so if you are typing in really low light or in the dark, you may need to remove it, but I consider that a minor flaw. I found that several of the function key labels (F4 F5 F6), were not updated and were incorrect. The skin also made it harder to press keys, so I now skipped a lot of letters when I type. In order to type correctly, I have to work harder than I normally do.
