It's basically a high-quality plastic sticker that's thin. It has a great deal of power - It's impossible to tear it in half (you'd need scissors), but it's still thin enough that I don't notice it. For almost a year, they've been on my keyboard, which I use every day. There hasn't been a single peeling or shifting. Sticks of excellent quality (keep this in mind when arranging them!). The lettering hasn't faded or worn away, and the design hasn't faded or worn away. These are an excellent purchase if, like me, you find that your nails wear the lettering right off standard keyboards. Now that I've used them, I honestly believe they're worth twice the price.
No, from what I've seen, they aren't see-through. I used them on an HP because the lettering on my keyboard had faded to the point where I couldn't see them. For that, they're ideal. However, they are not intended to be used as a backlit keyboard. They're a solid black background with the lettering printed on top.
I can't tell the stickered keys from the original ones because they have the same subtle texture as my Dell laptop keyboard. These are extremely helpful.
Allow them to charge by exposing them to bright lights for a period of time so that they will glow in the dark.

The keyboard stickers appear to be durable, which is a plus, but they collect a lot of dust, which is visible. I've just added a picture to show the difference between the keyboard letters with the sticker and those without. I wish they were cleaner, and to be honest, it's not what I expected because it's quite unsightly. In fact, the dust is still on the keyboard despite my best efforts to clean it.
These stick-to-it solutions on letters were the ideal solution for restoring the letters that I had typed away from my keyboard. The stickers give the keys a rough texture to give your finger tips traction and prevent slipping. Also, the F and J keys have notches for the bumps, but the stickers are about the same height as the bumps, so you don't really feel the bumps once they're stuck on (not a deal breaker for me). a suggestion: br>br> Before you commit to the stick, use tweezers to assist you in placing the letters on the keys. They can't take them off once they're on.

First, remove the letter from the pad and place it on the keyboard with tweezers. br>Second, make sure the letter is exactly where you want it. It's there to stay once you put it there - There is no way to change its position! br>A third tip I came up with that would make it a little easier to place would be to have something pointy in your left hand to push the letter down after you've positioned it with the tweezers in your right hand, as your forefinger is a little fat for the job and makes your placement less certain. Something simple, like the back end of a pen, should suffice. br>I am very pleased with this purchase. Finally, I'm able to see the entire alphabet! Even though I know where the S, D, C, and V are, I continue to make errors - When I'm copying and pasting, I especially notice the difference between the C and the V.
