Rinse your hands in that if you have 91% alcohol in your hands in that if you have some 91% alcohol in your hands in% Make sure your hands are completely dry. br>The idea is that you don't have any oil or contaminants on your hands that could contaminate the sticky part of the sticker if you touch it. Clean an xacto knife or a small pocket knife at the same time, and slightly dull the blade by dragging it across a surface before cleaning. If you've used it a few times and it's starting to feel drab, then - Razor sharp isn't ideal because it's far too easy to cut the sticker accidentally. br>br>Begin with the smallest stickers and work your way up to the most important ones. br>Turn the sheet over so that the wax paper side is facing up. Use a clean xacto knife (or a sharp tool) to cut the paper. Instead of cutting with the knife, slide it under a single sticker's white wax paper. Remove the entire paper square by lifting it up and tearing it away. The letter must still be present on the sheet. Then, slightly off-center, replace that single wax paper square. Flip the sheet over to the other side (1/32 to 1/16 inch). br>br>Now use your fingers to punch out that single letter. Because you placed the wax paper square slightly off center, an edge of the wax paper should protrude from one side; use the xacto knife to push that edge back and slide the knife under the sticker. Halfway in, slide in. Push the sticker down onto the knife just enough for it to stick. Remove the remaining wax paper square and discard; now that one side of the sticker is stuck to the knife, hold the knife in place so that the sticker lines up perfectly on the target key. The free side of the sticker should be pressed down. To remove the sticker, gently twist the knife away from it and slide it out. Continue to press the sticker all the way to the bottom. Firmly press down and lightly rub the area. Obviously, you must turn off your computer. br>br>As you go along, you may need to adjust how much of the knife you let the sticker stick to as you go. It should be just enough to keep the sticker from falling off as you center it on the key, but not so much that you have to fight and damage the sticker to free the knife.

The outcomes are amazing. The only complaint I had was that there was no enter sticker, but that was minor.

It was already sticking well, and I was worried that removing and reapplying it would result in a crease or crimp. It went back on without a hitch, though I'm not sure which sticker it was at this point - That's how it came back on. When applying stickers, I recommend using tweezers. I had several other stickers in a row, and one of them had a corner that didn't quite fit on the key. I had a hard time locating [] keys. As I typed, they hung over the upper right corner of my keyboard and grabbed my fingers. The corners no longer grab my fingers as I type after applying pressure to them, even though they are visible if I look closely. The stickers have a nice look and feel to them. They restored 'as new' visibility to my keyboard characters. The "F" and "J" key stickers have a notch cut into them that allows the raised notches of the keys to be felt for placement of the hands on the keyboard; I hadn't thought of it, but they had. I was worried that I'd feel (all of) the stickers around the edges or otherwise, but now that they're on, I don't have any concerns. The extra stickers were a factor in my decision to purchase this package. There is an extra " | " sticker because I did not use the "Shift (w/up arrow)". I'd also recommend turning off your computer or opening a new document so you can practice pressing the keys. As I look at the photos, I notice that one of them has shiny stickers, which is due to the lighting. I also noticed that the stickers were not applied as straight as I had hoped - However, none of this is visible when sitting at a desk and typing. It simply appears to be a new keyboard (dust and direct lighting notwithstanding).

For white characters, I believe the adhesive side should be covered in white. However, the finish is uneven, and some of the stickers are completely transparent. On a keyboard, they have poor contrast.

black and orange: Stickers are not reusable. Cyrillic letters are approximately twice the size of Latin letters and are transparent. They're extremely distracting; I'm not sure if I'll grow accustomed to them or scrape them off and throw them out in frustration. br>br>Also, you won't be able to use any other keyboard layout than "standard US"- "Russian computer," as the name implies.

Until I received this item, I assumed that all keyboard stickers were alike. br>First, when you remove the stickers from the plastic bag, you will notice that they smell like a strong chemical oil or something strange. I believe the chemical finish applied to the top surface was of poor quality. Second, each sticker piece comes off the entire keyboard set, so you'll have to take your time peeling them off and placing them on each keyboard button. br>br>For me, the smell was a complete turn-off. Peeling off each sticker piece from the entire piece was a major pain.
