I wouldn't put it in the washing machine; it should be easy to hand wash, but if you don't want to, the top rack of the dishwasher might work.
I'd just use a damp cloth to clean it. If you're concerned that it was touched with rubbing alcohol by someone else, don't worry.
I can not say for certain but it is China or Taiwan. It's nicely constructed. It is easy for me to use. It still appears to be new and fresh.

I am in love with this, and it was the best decision I've ever made. It's not small, and the gel is both firm and soft, and it arrived quickly.
After only one day of using this item, my pain returned. I would have given it a positive review if it hadn't been for the fact that I enjoyed everything else about it. However, there isn't enough support for a gel wrist brace.
I used to use a flat mouse pad, but after four months of working from home, my wrist began to hurt, so I switched to this new mouse pad, which works perfectly. Although the backing was mentioned in some reviews as a problem, mine arrived in perfect condition - There are no creases or scratches on this item. It's very comfortable, and I can already tell a difference in my wrist; at the price point, I thought it was a good deal.
It's cute, but I bought two of them and they're way too small. They're about the same size as my mouse. The wrist rest is too low to provide me with the necessary support. I've used a lot of ergonomic mouse pads, but I've never seen one this small or with such a low wrist rest. If you don't need wrist support and use one of those small child-sized mousepads, the mousepad will suffice. sized mice. My Logitech uses 75% of the pad space.
I chose this mouse pad because of the color and size, and because comparable mouse pads were the same price, I didn't feel like I was skimping. This item (if there is such a thing as a mouse pad) showed no signs of unusual wear and tear. Six months later, a broken stitch in the padded portion has caused the clear gel to leak. Others are probably better, and they all cost the same. br>br>The stitch gave out from the weight of a resting wrist. br>br>Others are probably better, and they all cost the same.
This mouse pad was fantastic right out of the box! It's attractive, and the wrist support was extremely comfortable. But a month later, the wrist support is ruined! The gel has oozed, compressed, and shifted to the point where it no longer supports the wrist and looks terrible. My previous gel-filled mouse pad lasted ten years! If you plan on using it for more than a few minutes at your computer each day, go for something less pretty and more durable.
Perhaps it's because of the shape of my wrist and hand, but the pad was hard on the underside of my wrist; I dug the old one out of the trash and noticed that the pad was much softer.
Even for someone like me, who is only 4'10 and weighs 105 pounds, this is a small bag. As a result, depending on your preferences, this may or may not be suitable for you. The gel support is firm and almost pointed in appearance. I had to return it because it was not comfortable for me, and instead purchased the loftmat cushion pad.
