Dear Sir/Madam, thank you very much for your inquiry. MX Master 3 was developed for professionals, artists, and those who work long hours. However, it can also be used for casual gamers with shorter working hours.
If you know how to desolder the mouse and solder in a silent switch that you can locate online or another silent mouse, you'd be able to make the change. It is really simple to do this with the right tools, and I have used it to silence all my mice.
The mouse I am using is mine. It is a USB-type device It is NOT possible to connect a device to your computer via a C-coaxial cable. You only have to pay when you use it. Bluetooth or USB will be the only methods to use it as a mouse You can buy a

There's no need for half measures. Let's go ALL the way.
Fit and finish is superb, though I should be able to get a model with a slippery rubber coating when I can work around that. It isn't too bad with the buttons. It's amazing how smoothly the scroll wheel moves. It is true. I know it happens to you. . . don't you forget that. You've got to press the forward and back buttons so many times before you get them The first version of the program was terrible. The second version of the game was a disappointment. It is fair to say that version 3 waaas marginally improved, but STILL stuck! I don't think they are smart or cute enough. They're too small, too stiff, and blend in with They need to be made much larger and they need to be placed I guess I'll have to deal with it. They may turn out to be right in version 4. For little or no usability testing with REAL customers instead of developers and managers, TWO stars will be deducted. It's a damn shame.
I had the old MX Master 2S, and now I have the new 3! The scrolling with the scroll wheel seems to be working fine except for the scrolling. There are a few turns of the wheel afterwards, but the pages don't scroll consistently (tested different browsers) as if the turning is not recognized by the internal tracking algorithm. Again, I tried the 2S and there are no scroll issues, which indicates that something is wrong with the I'm going to submit a claim to replace my defective item and hope that it's just the If a replacement is found that fixes the issue, I will update this review. Edit
My apologies for not mentioning that prior to buying the updated MX Master 3, I had hoped to have some bluetooth-related jittery cursor issues resolved with MacOS since the MX Master 2S had known Bluetooth issues with MacOS. Sadly, neither of those issues were resolved, and on a Mac it is still jittery.
I accidentally purchased the 2S but now have the 3S in my hands. As Amazon listed this product two days after I initially saw it, I had a chance to compare On the surface, the white 2S would have looked much better on my white desk, in fact the two colors went nicely together. Light grey is very unusual for Apple products, however it would be better to release the 3 in a white appearance with silver accents instead (the silver portion is similar to the silver of MacBooks or other Apple devices, light grey is unlike the silver on Apple products). In contrast, the 2S is better placed for its buttons, and I would rather make do with its undesirable color than strain my thumb trying to use the back and forward buttons. This leads to the topic of In terms of placement, the 3 is significantly better for my large hands (I'm 6'1" with the hands of a basketball player, so I need an extra-large or XL glove due to the length of my fingers). It was so difficult pulling my thumb back, that it initially felt like it would dislocate (maybe if I used the joint of my thumb to press it, it would have been easier, but the buttons being stacked on top of each other on the 2S made targeting the button difficult To apply pressure, I used the tip of the tip of my thumb). In the case of 3, that is not an issue. Although the 3 causes the horizontal scroll wheel to be so high, my thumb also becomes uncomfortable when trying to scroll horizontally due to the way it is positioned. As for horizontal scrolling, I don't do it very often, but I think I can learn how to place my hands better after a while. In retrospect, it would probably be better to put them near (if not directly) where the thumb rests instead of completely above it (therefore the horizontal scroll wheel could have been placed Using it shouldn't be a problem, but note that it may cause some initial discomfort to people with large hands. A great feature of the vertical scroll wheel is the wheel on the top. I think this is much more useful than the scroll wheel on the 2S, but you'll have to fiddle with the Logitech options program to get it to automatically switch to free scrolling based on the speed you prefer. allows it to be switched too easily, and the jump from ratcheted scrolling to free scrolling speed is noticeable. It's possible that you'll find yourself scrolling a few lines faster, and suddenly you'll be all the way to the bottom of the page. Furthermore, since the release, Youtubers have begun posting their reviews, and many of them have complained of the scroll wheel being That's not the case at all. The software is the last item on our list. tried to install on a Mac but was unable to do so. When I try to launch it, it just hangs. As soon as I installed the software for my 2S, I encountered this error. After forcing the installation to end, I had to remove the program, reinstall it, and then force it to end again. reinstalling it and receiving the 3, as you might have seen, the program did not recognize the new mouse and I could not get it to register as a new device. I could not get rid of the previous 2S to be able to install Therefore, I had to uninstall the program again after downloading the updated version, and the program hung on the first install process again after I tried to install it. As a result, I had to uninstall it a third time and reinstall it. Upon reinstalling, the program showed no devices, so I was able to register the 3 as a new device, adding it to my Computer as a new device. It may be because I am an Apple Developer using a Developer Beta of macOS that I am having this issue. There may just be some growing pains from Logitech that they will resolve in the future. In the meantime, if you encounter any issues as I did, know that it can be overcome, all it will take is Having said that, I have not yet figured out how to set up the custom profiles so that the mouse behaves differently depending on which application is open. Photoshop does not allow me to install the profile. All but Photoshop downloaded and installed without a problem, while Safari, Chrome, and other profiles Photoshop has been uninstalled and reinstalled a few times, but nothing worked. I dread the thought of uninstalling and reinstalling Logitech Options. Then maybe next month, when enough time has passed, I'll take a look at this review and update it However, putting those quirks aside, I feel that the 3 is a worthy upgrade over the 2. The phone will remain with me as long as either it comes in white or the 3s / 4 are released, whichever comes first. But for now, I am satisfied with it, and I.
Despite finding the MX Master 2s to be an excellent mouse, I had two complaints Among the shortcomings of this laptop, Micro USB was used instead of Type C, and the throttle button and navigation button were difficult There is a solution to both of those problems in the MX Master 3. With the new thumb wheel and lower navigation buttons, the thumb wheel feels very high quality and is easy to spin around. They have also relocated the navigation buttons lower to make it easier for your fingertips to press them. As well as being quieter, using the main scrollwheel has become more fun. Additionally, this mouse can be connected to three devices, through Bluetooth or a USB dongle. It works on pretty much all surfaces, so you shouldn't have any trouble using it. Using the program on both a Mac and PC hasn't been a problem for me. As Logitech claims a battery life of 70 days, and while I haven't had the opportunity to test that out yet, if the MX Master 2S is anything to go by, you can expect great battery life on this mouse as well.
