Questions & Answers
connected my classroom projector by using this cable to connect my computer to it, so I do not know the answer to this question. It would be great if I could help, but I just do not know how. It's my fault*
It projects pictures from my document camera and my desk lamp from my Dell Lap Top computer to the whiteboard in my classroom. I have no clue what it does.

I didn't notice that there was plastic around the connector end. While these cables look good, I had to give them only two stars due to an issue with the male end of the cable not fitting into my computer's female end it is for this reason that I gave it only four stars. I trimmed the excess plastic off with wire snippers until the plastic was clear. There is a small lip on the plastic that appears before the male connector and that is the kind that gets in the way of the male connection. Around the connector, there is a flare that protrudes perpendicular to the cable, about 1/16" or 1/32". In my mini PC, the cable was too short to fit into the VGA female end due to this tiny plastic lip. My alternative to sending the cable back was to use wire snips to trim off enough of the plastic lip so that the plug would fit in the recessed VGA space on my computer. Basically, after I trimmed off the excess plastic lip, it went right into place (a bit snug, but not too bad), and now the cable is working perfectly. It is used to connect a secondary monitor to my computer. There are two pictures included here It was easy to connect the left-hand cable to my monitor since it was unobstructed, and the right-hand cable in my monitor was not obstructed. It is clear that the plastic up against the monitor up against this side of the monitor hasn't been trimmed. The one on the right, if you click on it and enlarge it, you can easily see the polymer edge of the cable closest to the PC (which penetrates the case a little) looks rough because it is trimmed down to fit If your monitor and PC do not have a slightly recessed access point in the case, like my Chuwi HeroBox does, then this cable would be perfect for you. As much as I hate to deduct a star, it's a very nice looking cable that works as expected, but I was about to return it since that extra plastic lip prevented it from fitting into the required space. When I saw the plastic, I thought the idea of trimming it myself was brilliant. Whenever you are shopping for this cable, take a look at the spot where you will be plugging it Sadly, that VGA slot was sunk about 1/16" deep into the plastic casing of the Chuwi Herobox minicomputer. I had to plug this into the VGA port on that computer. Despite the PC's increased power output, the female VGA connector was too small for the cable's plastic case. This is a standard connector, so it clearly worked for the male and female parts. It works fine, and I think if it had been for a laptop or a full-sized monitor, it would work as normally will If you have a desktop of any size, it would not be an issue. In the case of a mini or micro PC, you might want to inspect the space available for connectivity, and make sure you buy a cable that does not exceed the dimensions of the platform.
I have been using this for over 30 days and am writing to see if a replacement can be sent? The last one was working fine, and I'd like to receive another. In the process of finding a replacement VGA cable, I noticed that the cable was a nice style and seemed to fit my needs.
The monitor connection is made by using this cable. With the monitor, the wrong cable was provided.
No need to use it, but I like the way it looks.
My cable was 3ft in length instead of 2ft as I ordered.
The answer I was looking for.
