Before the screen went blank, the cable worked for about five minutes. Using my GTX 1080 graphics card, I tried another port and the result was the same. As stupid as I was, I tried it on a third port, and it did the same thing. In previous tests, the cable worked well and the quality was very good. But there is still one problem. In comparison with the rest of the cable, the VGA part is huge. My monitors came with OEM Dell cables about twice as long as this one. I've attached a photo to give you an idea of the size. Under normal circumstances, this is not an issue but I have a mounted soundbar that clips to the bottom of my monitor, and the bulk of this connector prevents me from using it. Therefore, you should be aware that I had to return my purchase. If you don't have a mounted sound bar, this is a good bet.

Looks decent. In one case, it works perfectly, in the other, it 2 of them were purchased. The two monitors work fine, but the other had intermittent issues that moved from monitor to monitor with the cable. Rather than take action (other than complaining in a review), I'm too lazy to act. There I switched the old VGA to VGA cable which came with the monitor back to it. It is not even clear to me why i thought he needed to be replaced in the first place. If they could both work together from the beginning, that would be best.

Since they worked exactly as described, they were particularly pleasing to me, since the pins had slots for the flat heads, which made them easier to tighten. As in the original Dell cable, the image quality is the same, but since I have to switch to these cables to use my new laptop, the image quality is affected. It was a great experience for me and I highly recommend it. I just got this product and it has been great. It arrived in two days and, for $8, it is pretty reasonable. Silicone thumb screws are rather bulky, so a screwdriver is a bit of a hassle, but thumbing them in is almost as bad since the body of the connection itself is so large. The rest is fine, however.

There is an area where people are unaware the VGA to Display Port connection will not allow a PC with a VGA display out to connect to a monitor with a Display Port A VGA cable connected to a computer outputting Display Port is required to connect VGA monitors. Your monitor can be connected to HDMI if it has an out.
