In my test, I used my 2016 15-inch Chromebook to test the cable since I do not have any Thunderbolt 4 or USB 4 devices. Thunderbolt 3 is the only way I can connect my MacBook Pro and 4K BenQ monitor, both of which are I was expecting it to perform similarly to the Thunderbolt 3 cable (4K@60Hz and charge my MacBook Pro). However, since I would like to have a Thunderbolt 4 cable in case I get devices that support it, it's nice to have both cables.
