Despite trying to transfer data between two MacBooks, I was not able to. The cable only worked as a charging cable when used as a charging cable, and none of the other ports worked.

The device only supports power, not data

No data will be transmitted over a cable only electricity will be delivered. A Thunderbolt 3 or USB C connection to my portable monitor failed to connect to the eGPU. A product like this is misleading. It should not be purchased.

The docking station I have works well

The docking station I brought with me allows me to use this device. My docking station works perfectly, and I was able to run two monitors along with a keyboard and mouse. Intended to be used with a short cable, though it is a bit expensive.
