The flickering, which started when I set my monitor to 1440p 244hz 5m. The image is not all that stable, nor do I need it to be, but I do need a stable image at all times. 5m is just too.
The Valve Index for 90 Hz works in this case. It seems like it should do fine higher, but I have not tested it.
I noticed my monitor flickering because of this. An ultrawide 3440x1440 @144hz monitor with HDR is used.
The product does its job and does it.
Does exactly what it claims and is of a very high quality for its price. The best alternative to some sort of fiber solution, given the price.
There was a problem with my old DP-1 with a distorted picture. A two-cable setup running 1440p and 144Hz on my monitor was possible because the cable was located alongside a 230V AC cable in line with the monitor. I was able to resolve my problem by switching to this cable.
After a couple months of daily use, there have been no issues, and I remain blown away by the vivid display each day with the 2K monitor. Cables like this one are one of those items that you simply forget about when they go about doing what they're supposed to do without any issue or bother. Although I recognize that some people require the very highest resolutions and fastest of data transmissions for very specific reasons as high resolution gaming, high-speed data transmissions for medical research or other purposes You can edit high-resolution images as well as stream them. My needs are so much below the capacity of the cable, I am sure I will never have any issues for years to come because my needs are so far below its capacity. My only comment is that it's an excellent display port cable that is ready for the future, and that's why I got it. Construction quality is excellent, and I have no additional comments. The cable will really come in handy for many years to come since I wish to have a 4K or even 8K monitor within the next couple of years.
There is only one drawback to this cable, and that is its thickness. As a cable management system, it is not the most mobile and doesn't fit in many places where cables are hidden. My adjustable monitor arms were barely able to fit it in the cable undertray. I need a length that works for what I need, so it is perfect.
