While I thought using Thunderbolt 3 cables for my M1 Mac mini would save me money, I have now found multiple situations in which the Thunderbolt 4 cable enables device connections that failed when using a certified 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 cable, or results in significantly improved performance. That's why I'm ordering more of them.

I would recommend the Lightning to Thunderbolt 4 cable, but if you absolutely need one, wait until the price goes down on this one and get one of the Thunderbolt 3 cables.

Outstanding USB/Thunderbolt 4 connectivity that is fully backward compatible and future-proof

My research before choosing this cable has been extensive, and I'm glad I know what I'm doing. In the first place, this cable allows backward compatibility with all USB/Thunderbolt standards, as well as future proofing for a minimum of five It is well built as a result, there is a good build quality. When you think about why you would want something like this, it's flexible and attractive. We only have one (tiny) criticism it would be nice if the connectors had a blank side at least and at least one of them. The connector must be brand-free The logo must be taken off It is better for me to have a clean setup.

There are issues with 60 hz refresh rate, causing lag

I tried connecting this cord between a 2019 5k iMac 27" with Vega 48 graphics card and a Benq SW271C monitor. There are video stutters and laggy mice/trackpads when using a cord between two 60hz monitors, as the cord does not appear to be capable of 60hz refresh rate.

Is very reliable when connected to external GPU enclosures, and is a great price

With this, I can use my Dell XPS laptop with an external GPU enclosure with a NVIDIA GPU and there are no issues. The price is also reasonable.
